I bought this bin to replace an old grey plastic one, and it works in terms of colour - a gorgeous vibrant yellow - and size - perfect for a small kitchen. However, there is one disappointing problem - the lid can't be opened fully against a wall or cabinet; it will only open properly as a free standing unit. I'm learning to live with it, but if you want to use it against a surface, I would look elsewhere. Rather pricey too, for a bin!

Just like the look of these (sad but true) retro bins and they work well. We have two one of these and a large one for recycling waste. Might buy another one day.....
