I am a big fan of my Kickboy which my wife and I purchased back in the 1990's. People complain about the spring on the lid breaking after 7 years or so. Dont forget it comes with a five year guarantee. But springs don't last forever with a lot of use. And that is why Wesco sell replacement parts such as metal pedals and new lid springs. A new spring for the lid and the bits that go with it can be obtained for around £12.00 form the Wesco website and is easy to replace. We purchased this bin while on holiday in the 1990's in the university town of Laden in Holland. So in our house the name that has stuck is Bin-Laden.A fantastic product but every seven years or so you need to replace the spring which is easy.

You may think, as I did, that this is a lot of money to spend on a bin. It is. But when you consider it last 10x as long as bins that cost half the price, you begin to see the value. Support from Wesco is very good - a part broke on my 5 year old bin, they sent me a spare by return! Free.But here is the best bit. In the summer our kitchen would occassionaly smell high - or rather, the rubbish in the bin would go off and the smell would slowly permiate the kitchen. These bins don't suffer from that problem, and because you dont push the stuff into the bin, you don't pick up germs on the way out.The cheap imitations are just that - cheaply built and not as much thought put into the design.

Bought this bin for my Son and his girlfriend and they love it. It is a nice size and having the foot pedal helps when scraping a plate into the bin. You can also use black bin liners inside. Overall, it is a good looking bin and makes a nice addition to the kitchen. The delivery was so quick too. And it arrived nicely packaged. Really pleased.

We broke out last bin after many years (similar style, different make) and chose this one after some research. It has been a good product. It is reliable, sturdy, easy to use and I expect will last us for many years. It fits a large bin bag inside so you get lots of waste in. Would recommend.

Great bin, easy to use & looks good. Though dents quite easily and I had a nightmare with amazon as first one they delivered had huge dents so needed a replacement - waited in all day and didn't collect. No-one took responibility. Not sure would order a large item from them again.

Arrived on time, was superbly packaged and would not hesitate to use againThe bin itself is excellent and of the highest quality. If you are looking for a bit of style in the shape of a bin then this is the product for you. I expect this to last and last and last. Great build

Quality item. Slightly larger than I'd imagined, but not out of place. Arrived on-time and un-damaged (not least due to superb packaging). Recommend ordering liner bags as no 'starter pack' came with the bin.

This waste bin is gorgeous. Very sturdily built, easy to use and change the bag. Wonderful. Worth every penny. No problem with delivery from Germany. We are really very happy with it indeed.

love the simple design- it's a classic. This is my 2nd version- old one lasted 10 years- now being used in the garage.

I didn’t realise you have to remove the whole outer layer to get to the bin to empty the bag. Not very practical

Design of bin is stylish but handles on side are plastic. Wesco used to make everything in metal.
