These are the business.I used them for the first time on a VW Sharan 2012 car, they worked perfectly.Important to follow the instructions and make sure you follow the sequence correctly- threading the chains from right to left (on both wheels, not in the sense of the car driving forward) and then tensing the chain.These chains then really bite the road. They are significantly easier to use than other chain brands I have used down the years.Snow socks may be OK for UK but they are not legally classed as chains in many countries. In all my visits to the Alps I rarely see Michelin Easygrip.The big plus point of self tensioning chains is you stop ONCE. Probably always a good idea to stop 300'

Excellent snow chains, good solid box to store them in, easy to fit and easy to use.
