Can't believe the other reviewers saying how hard it is to put them or how inefficient they are – are we talking about the same product? did you buy the correct size?! have you followed the instructions (both printed and, if in doubt from their website)?!?Went to Italy for Xmas – northern part, near the border with Switzerland. Despite the weather forecast, got ourselves in a proper snow storm one evening – next day everything was covered, could barely see the car.Having had some bad experience with metal snow chains in the past (difficult to put, can’t drive on partially covered roads, you can’t use them too much, as they’ll damage the transmission etc.) – I shopped around for a more easier solution.

I have been snowed in for 8 days. The local housing scheme roads were not cleared by the council and my car is very bad in the snow but, 20 minutes after delivery I drove down the snow covered road and out onto the main road with ease and high level of grip.Easy to fit, easier to remove I would recommend them to any one.The fitting instructions are printed on plastic so will survive any weather conditions, but you will only need to see them once.There is not adjustments required as Michelin Easy Grip Snow Chain's are made to fit specific tyre sizes.This is a great product, I wish I got them before the snow came.

Pretty easy to fit, lightweight, and kind to your tyres. However watch your speed as if you go too fast they balloon outwards and spin off; now on my second set as lost the last set on French Autoroute doing 45 MPH. Ideal for occasional use such as a skiing holiday.

First time use them today after bought them 8 years ago. It is not easy to put on but is you follow the instruction, it should be fine. It is excellent with 15 cm thick snow going up hill without problem. But you have to drive slowly with them on.
