These chains are top quality and easy to fit once you fine tune the size to your tyre this only needs to be done once when they arrive but you may not need to to this I did, it was a simple process of matching the chain to my tyre ( trial and error) for my Ford S max (235/24 R18) by removing or adding the small bars .Once done they are ready to go. They are the first snow chain of this type I have used and are very easy to fit and remove they provide fantastic grip on deep snow and ice . Because they are quick to fit it was easy on longer journeys to stop and put them on and off as the road conditions dictated with my regular chains I would often leave them on when I should have not .There is also no need to kneel down or reach around the tyre if fact the process is so quick and clean you could almost get away without gloves .When ordering make sure you get the correct wheel nut adapter, it comes with a range but mine needed to be ordered extra I was not charged for the extra adapter . Be careful with ordering the correct size for you car always see the manufacturers guide.I have had my chains now for 3 years and have used them on 5 ski trips ( my last drive 36 km with them on was in a blizzard and 40cm of snow on the road ) and they are as good now as when new and will sell them on when I sell the car . They are expensive but of very good quality and will last . Before I purchased them I looked around for a long time so I don't think you will find any better even if you don't need this not behind the tyre chain .

These are fantastic. They are so easy to put onto the tyres, they don’t mark the alloys wheels and they give you incredible grip and control (both uphill and downhill) on snow and ice. They aren’t cheap but in this case you definitely do get what you pay for. Saying that, they’re probably cheaper than the cost of most people’s insurance excess and they provide you and your loved ones with safe winter mobility.I wouldn’t be without them, I’ve never been more relaxed driving on snow and ice ?????They also come in a very good quality carry case for easy storage.I have seen a video on YouTube (posted by a pair of simpletons! ?) demonstrating how difficult it is to fit these.........You HAVE to read the instructions first and size them to your tyre size. I had to remove three of the yellow sizing bolts to fit my tyres. The most you’ll have to remove is four, you may not need to remove any.Give yourself around fifteen minutes to read/understand the sizing instructions and a minute or so to remove each sizing bolt. Once you’ve done this it only takes a few minutes per wheel to put them on or take them off.I’ve only used them for one winter so I can’t discuss their longevity but they do feel incredibly well made and I’m sure they will provide me with safe winter driving for many years to come.Highly recommend.

Having bought much cheaper snow chains in the past and struggling to get them on in bad weather (without practicing at home first) and then them breaking on first outing I was determined to get something better. The key issue I faced was low wheel arches and big wheels. Traditional snow chains have to be fixed behind the wheel. With my car these means laying on the ground under the car! No fun in freezing snowy conditions, usually in slush.Although not cheap these are execellent chains which are very straightforward to put on. These chains are a fixed and secured from the outside. Reverse a little, check they are secure and off you go. Demonstrated most recently in the Alpes where everyone was stopping to put chains on.Motorways were closed and everyone was taking to the minor roads. Many people were visibly struggling on the side of the road to put on traditional snow chains ... we saled past after a short stop to put ours on. I was also pleasantly surprised that after driving on a clear road before we could stop to take the chains off, there was no visible wear or damage to them. So highly recommended.

Easy to fit. But If you think to put it in the trunk as it was bought, to fit it immediately to the tires if necessary, you will be wrong. Make all preparations in advance. If it's necessary remove in advance the regulation elements according to the size of your tire, check in advance which pre-mounted lug nut adapter, which pre-mounted spacer are proper to use and fix them on the mechanism of the chain. Then you can store it in the trunk ready to use. You can fit them in a few minutes. Although it looks like metal in the picture, the four plates at the end of the arms are plastic. I don't test its durability but I'm a little skeptical about that plastic structure.

These chains where a good solution for the Ford Focus due to the zero clearance in the wheel arch. When they are they work well having just used them on a trip to the French Alps over Xmas and had to use the chains a couple of time in the mountains.Did have a couple of issues with them coming off so you need to make sure that they stay on before you continue driving off. They are also not as easy to take off as the Thule video suggests, required a bit if a tug to get them off. All in all, easy to fit but be careful after driving off to make sure they stay on!Once on they do the job well and can tackle the steepest of roads.

I used these every day in the alps in February. I had to take them on and off twice a day. No problem at all. Takes about 45 seconds each side I kid you not. And they got us up to the top of the mountain and back down again in deep snow and ice. Even quicker to take off. I had it down to formula one pit times. I also had these as they would not damage my kuga 19 inch alloy wheels. No other chains could do that. A very clever system. Worth every penny. Mate had tyre socks. They do work but what a faf and they freeze in the car every night then thaw out and get everything wet.

Cheap when compared to the same product rebadged from you local car dealer.Hard to get on if you haven't adjusted them before your trip. For example the K66 (xxl size) requires 4 link rods removing for 235 60 r18 tyres. Read the instructions and do this before you leave! The self centering doesn't seem to get them on first time and you have to drive, then kick them on a bit, then drive. Once on they worked fine. These and a few others are the only choice for some cars.

the chains lock on the wheel nut head of your wheel. NOT all wheel nuts are the same size. one has to make sure when u but this chains u get the right size nut/head bolt. if not the chains will not be able to be fitted to your wheel nut.The cost to buy the right size if u get it worng is £40.00. for the pair. The chains are very good once u get the right Nut/Bot from Thule.

It fits the Volvo V60 R-type (235 40 18).It was very very easy to set.I bought this product from Japan.Even considering the tariff of exports, UK was a bargain.Because it is very expensive in Japan.Amazon delivered it properly.Thank you Amazon!

Fitted perfectly on my 2009 VW Passat - didn't even have to change the bolts. The tool for removing the required links (for larger tyres) is not up to the job (a disappointing cheap element in a quality product) so I had to get my own tools on it.

Easiest Chains I have ever tried to fit on a wheel - excellent design. However, they are quite big in the boot of the car compared to normal chains. However if you have limited clearance under the wheel arch then these are the ones to go for.

Perfect fit Thule are the best snow chains on the market well worth the expense althoughthese were the cheapest we found - would definitely use again in fact this is the 2nd pairwe have bought from Konig.

Fantastic snow chain. We tried and tested it on a ski trip in the alps where they claimed to have just had the worst snow in 30 years and they worked brilliantly on the wide tyres on our van.

Wicked set of snow chains. Can't wait for Winter to try them out. Need more practice at fitting them quickly so I can do it in the dark with cold hands!
