The game is not a polished game, however, it still has a lot of qualities in the aspect of boxing, it is a lot of fun for it's price.Victorious Boxers Challenge (Wii) has a lot of boxing tricks and moves, besides your typical jab, upper cut, hook, straight, etc, you can also move your upper body in all 360 degrees, and your attacks correspond with you upper body's position, making many different possibilities of attack, and the game performs these attacks and character movements in a smooth and fluid way.All of which corresponds with the movement of your Wii controllers, it was difficult to learn how to perform some of the moves at first, but the learning curve is not difficult, though to become more advanced, I can see it could take a lot of training. I found their official website offers much better instruction on the controls than the in game tutorial. The main aspect of the game was good, however, some other aspects failed me in this game.Victorious Boxer is a Japanese Manga, yet, the story under the story mode in this game was poorly done, so much so that I have seen better story, script, voice acting and the presentation done much better in a game twenty years ago. It is clear that the developer placed all their attention in the action of the game, and forfeit everything else.If you wish to box on the Wii in a detailed fashion and forget the story or everything else, this game is good value for money.

Let me say this game is terrible, really bad, pants !!!!In bullet points- unintuitive controls, what you do with your hands (via remote and nunchuck) has ZERO bearing on corresponding moves on screen. Wii sports makes boxing look like an art form compared to this tosh- terrible cut scenes, not only cringeworthy acting but almost every round of every fight is interupted with an annoying cutscene that you cannot skip even if your winning a docotor will pipe up with a bit of waneful drama, and if you get beat in a fight, you have to try again AND endure the same annoying doctor bleating nonsense for a minute or two- lightning fast opponents, the game oponents throw about 400% more punches than you are capable of,even if you have jedi and ninja skills you will not be able to compete with their workrate- no energy bar, no indication on how a fight is going, zilch, the cp (or you) can land forty+ punches and then get felled by one soft hit, no consitency.Do not be fooled by positive reviews on video forums this game is SHOCKING !!

the cartoon like figures were a real put off, and the game play not as good as other boxing games, this game wont work with the boxing gloves you can buy for the wii,I proberly wont play this again, so far I found 'don king' boxing to be the better, but that doesnt work with boxing gloves either,Have I waisted my money on them?I would like to see a game that tracks your every move, being able to throw a punch by flicking your wrist is boreing,

What you do with your hands bears no relation at all to what your boxer does on screen. The long winded and cringeworthy cut scenes help to make this a contender for worst boxing game ever released. The people who released this should know that they are not good at their jobs, they are in fact at the very bottom of their game.
