I needed to present a large amount of archived data to a HM Court as evidence in a PIP case, the HM Court and DWP demanded this evidence had to withstand the test of time as long as paper records, so these 25GB Blu-ray disc that can survive a 1000 years which is more than 10 generations of my family will survive and most likely longer than Blu-ray disc machines will be around. I would fully recommend this discs for storing large amounts of data for a long periods of time, they out last any normal DVD and Blu-ray discs and most likely beat any hard drive storage medium too. Just wish they create bigger than > 5 TB storage discs to archive 100 TB on my computer and another 50 TB on portable drives.PS they write and varify fast,I wrote and varified two discs in less than 40 minutes - I bet DWP and Capita are also having a headache too

Having researched various options for backing up and storing precious photos and films, I came to the conclusion that even the slightest risk shouldn't be entertained and so I went with tried and trusted DVDs. (Online / cloud storage is still in its infancy and obviously way too risky, and the life expectancy of an external hard drive is actually very poor.)I can report that using a Macbook Pro and a cheap LG disc drive, I had no problems whatsoever copying my files, and these Verbatim M discs will play on any device that I've tried them on.I now have the DVDs all neatly labelled in a folder, forever. The perfect storage solution.

I use these for archiving files. These files can then be moved from the daily backup routine, to save time & hard disk space. For double security, I write 2 disks, which are stored at separate houses.More expensive than standard DVDs, but I think they are worth while. It is very frustrating to find that an old file cannot be read from a standard CD or DVD. It also surprises me how often I look at files that are 10 years old.

An effective way to Securely Archive My Digital Holiday Photos.I used these to archive thousands of holiday photos taken in HongKong, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and Brussels. They have a long life to safeguard my precious memories for years to come. Well worth buying.

Burned 12 of these discs so far. No write retries, miscompares, or read errors. ImgBurn reports MILLEN in the disc info, also HTL. I'm using LG burner BP50NB40.Purchasing was also very satisfactory. Delivery quick and currency fees less than expected.

Try to look for test of M-Disk. There was one guy leaving for a 3/4 year outside BR disks and M-disk survived just fine. For me it is enough if it lasts like 10 -20 years without constant "copy over next media" tasks.

Seem fine and ideal for those who don't like or trust cloud storage. A bit pricey compared to the standard BD-R discs and not easy to find. Higher capacity discs don't seem to be readily available in the UK.

Worked so far. I amusing these for photo back ups and there seems no difference between these and standard BD but only time will tell if light changes them. They do need a dedicated writer but not player.

I’ve used other brands of optical disc, be it CD, DVD and Blu-ray with variable results. When it comes to reliability and a coaster free experience, it has to be verbatim every time.

The pack I got seemed temperamental to burning via windows, I finally got them to burn using ImgBurn, but had wasted 3 disc before that and at this price not a cheap failure

Bought for backing up photos & music collections but nobody seems to use discs anymore - not sure if my great grandkids will be able to read them. - Time will tell.

Actually it is rewritable, so I was surprised and delighted at the same time. Will buy more, will be looking for this type of disk at a bargain price. Many thanks.

A good quality blank 25gb disc that actually proves about 22gb of data space. No burn errors and has provided me with some valuable free hard drive space.

Excellent quality, worth buying for long time storage but make sure your player/burner can deal with this type of disc.

Works as expected, using Pioneer internal optical drive and external ASUS Blu-Ray.More reliable than Blu-Ray Discs.
