I decided to repair an older microATV PC that had been sitting around collecting dust. I decided to repace the PSU, Motherboard, CPU and RAM with some new parts. I also wanted to install a new Blu-ray burner, SSD and HDD. I had all these great parts and realized that I didn't have any of the screws from when I scrapped the inards of the machine. I looked all over the house for anything that might serve to attach my new parts .... No Joy.I looked on Amazon and found the #6-32x1/4" screws at a great price. The screws were perfect for attaching the motherboard, HDD and also for the reattaching the drive bay and the case covers.I also bought a bag of the M3-1/4" which attached the SSD and the Blu-ray burner.I also searched for items by Startech and found they make a lot of other small parts that make a system build go a lot easier.

They fit perfectly, and were identical to the standoffs that were provided with my case.I had an issue with a few standoffs stripping after years of the motherboard being taken in and out of my case (also due to me using the incorrect screws, unfortunately). I had a few spare standoffs, but not enough to cover the rest. I searched online and came across these. For around $5 and 15 standoffs, I decided to order them to replace my old ones. There isn't much else to say other than that they fit, and made my case usable. Keep in mind that there are longer standoffs, so if your case needs them, these aren't the ones to use. Thankfully, most cases use the same size, so these should work just fine.

They are about what you would expect from them. They are of reasonable quality and although not super hardy, for the price and the quantity they don't really need to be. They'll hold up for many uses and they have fit for all of my PC fan mounting and such. They are a bit longer than I expected at around 3/8 of an inch. It bothered me a little at first because sometimes these things are such a pain to screw in to a new case and a new fan but I know that sometimes if you have more case or fan to screw through, then the extra length will be more than welcomed. In this case, it is better too long than too short. For the price, quality, and quantity, I can easily recommend these.

Though there's not a lot of complexity in brass motherboard standoffs, they have to be very consistent in manufacture, and done to spec, namely:* All male threads work* Each hex head is the same exact length* All female threads work* 15-pack has 15These characteristics are all true for this, so it's as good as it can be. I check them ahead of time since finding out the hard way while you've got a motherboard in your hands, halfway mounted in the case, but you're stymied because one is cross-threaded, is just not a good situation to be in.No complaints, and I'll re-order as needed.

I used these for a custom case-from-scratch design, they work fine (I used the 6-32 rather than the M3 simply because I already had a tap for that size). Nothing remarkable about them one way or another, but the 15 pack is far more than you need for a normal motherboard. These seem like they are the same height as the ones in my store-bought case, so if you are looking to replace those for some reason these will probably work. Only thing I would change is that I wish they were cheaper :)

Just what I was looking for with PC case replacement screws. Well made and worked without an issue.I had gone to a local hardware store and asked about getting a screw like this. The guy working there told me that these kind of screws were not available anywhere. They didn't exist even though I was holding the same screw. I knew that I was at the wrong place. I didn't argue with him but I promptly got out of there and started looking on the Internet. So here we are as they say.

If, like me, you are constantly in and out of your computer cases, these things are a necessity. There are many different brands, colors, package sizes. with varying grip patterns and buy online can be hit or miss. I lucked out with these. They work well, are easy to grip and the package size of 50 means they will last me quite a while as long as I don't losethe bag.The price has also come down a few $ since I bought mine so even a better deal now.

What can I say, they're thumbscrews. They don't strip, have a heavy, solid construction, and fit nicely into most screw holes. One peeve I have about them though is the black coloring (paint?) often leaves residue on my hands, and they, oddly enough, smell very strange, almost like sulfur. For 50 screws, the price might be a little steep. But if you appreciate thumbscrews, buy them. They look and perform great!

I bought these thinking they would work with my hard drives and DVD burners (like most case screws) but they don't fit. The diameter of the screw is too thick. They did fit great on my graphics card and on the outside of the case to hold the sides on, but they didn't work anywhere on the inside. They are very high quality though -- but your mileage may vary with whether they fit your components.

I got these thinking I would need them (the mobo didn't come with them, what the hell?). It turns out I didn't need them because the case had raised metal on the plate that acts as a standoff, and the two standoffs that came with the case can be added if necessary. Still, the product that shipped was what I would have needed, and I'm sure the quality is excellent.

These are awesome quality screws that doesn't strip very easily (and I do tend to do that pretty often as I am pretty rough with things). I have used several to mount several hard drives, my SSD, my manual fan controller, graphics card, and more! These are awesome and has a big head making it easier to aim the screwdriver in hard to reach places.

In case you're not a computer person, know this: ATX is not a brand name. It is a configuration for PC cases, which is the industry standard for most (~98%) desktop PCs. These will most likely work fine with your case, if you were wondering. They look nice and robust, and they do the job well. No complaints here!I'd buy these again, if needed.

I wasn't expecting such a quality screw. You will never screw the same way again after using this product. They are smooth and slide in the hole just right, just made sure you don't push too hard. The trick is to angle it just right before pushing. Any other screw will never be the same.Seriously, it's a screw. It's hard to mess up a screw.

They are wide thread fan screws, they bite and screw in to the plastic quickly and secure the fans.No fuss but they are screws, that simple. So if you want to secure fans to your case, these are for you. If you want them to hold your curtain rail up, you might want to look for alternatives.

Worked better than i had anticipated. Idk if i got lucky or what but every piece is in top form and not one is broken. No complaints, rather, many thanks StarTech for having durable and robust case mount screws. Got it as a much needed add on for a few bucks and was well worth it.
