I haven't bought writable DVD media in years but I wanted to try some different Linux distros / flavours. They can boot from DVD so it saves using a bunch of USB sticks.On some other sites many people use, I found a lot of bad reviews, they appear to have a lot of fake Verbatim discs for sale as people complained many fail to write. One even showed a spelling mistake on the discs.These are genuine Verbatim discs and are about the same price as the cheap fakes on other sites.

I bought these in order to make system backup images for some PCs being set up for a charity. The disks are high quality and I had no problem with them. Please note that an old optical drive may be perfectly able to read a disk but may not write a disk properly. So before concluding that you have a batch of defective discs try them on some different machines.

I have been buying Verbatim DVD and CD discs for years and find them good quality.The only disappointment about this delivery was the fact that the plastic base of the spool was broken, but this probably happened in transit, and was not a major problem; the discs were fine.

Verbatim discs have never let me down, unlike other brands which usually have a few 'dodgy' discs in larger pack. The quality of DVD recordings is excellent when I copy TV programmes from my recorder's hard drive. I am happy to recommend this product.

I needed a stack of writable DVD's and went off the review on here, plus Verbatim are normally reliable for these sorts of things. Have burnt a few disks and worked fine. Very reasonable price too.

I have not yet used any of the DVD's but as they are exactly the same as my last lot I'm assuming they will be okay. I've found in the past that Verbatim DVD's work better than most other brands.

Does what it says on the tin, holds data solidly, in other words the data does not drop off leaving the recording ruined. Excellent make, will buy again.

Lockdown job!!! I copied old camcorder tapes to PC and then burnt to these DVD's.Plus the click and collect was quicker than waiting in the shop.

Great disks. Do the job without any problems which may be found with some cheaper disks.
