I truly expected the worst but after playing the demo, which I enjoyed, I decided to buy it.This game was perfectly OK. I even liked it.The only issue I had was with the inaccurate aiming system, or more accurately hit-detection system.You can have 100% clear sight on the enemy yet when you shoot him you still won't injure or kill him.However this problem only occurred when they were hiding behind corners.At all other times I did not have this problem, I could easily snipe them or blast them up-close with my shotgun.Sure the movements are a bit clunky but you can adjust that in the settings.I liked the feel of the weapons and that you could use a wide range of them to suit your playstyle.Iliked that you died quite easily and that the enemy were so good at throwing grenades.The enemy AI was OK, they went into cover when they needed to and came running when you didn't expect them to.So in comparison to some modern games like Borderlands they were genius.The level design was excellent, as they tend to be in these older shooters.There is a rich variety in the settings and the different paths you take.You never find yourself in a similar combat arena as previously.The gameplay offers variety in that you get to set bombs every now and then, and do simple platforming stuff.You can also do silent takedowns of the enemy. There's not much of these things in the game but they are there.The storyline was cool. Alternate-reality is a sub-genre within Science-Fiction, and WW2 has been a popular theme.However besides the Wolfenstein games it is not something that you often see in video games.So Turning Point is actually quite original with its theme and concept, as far as games go.Character building is the weakest part of the game. The protagonist feels anonymous as the game does nothing at all to build on his character and personality. Nor are any other relationships explored in the game, with your fellow soldiers and such.In this respect the game is very similar to early FPS, where the storyline is simply there to validate your character's existence and the settings. So if you approach the game like you would a classic shooter you won't be bothered by this.Overall I was surprised and impressed by the challenging combat, excellent level design and interesting concept.

Firstly, if all you care about is graphics, then don't play this game. Also, don't review anything at all. This game was one of the most fun I have ever played, the stroyline was engaging, the gameplay fun and most of all, I liked seeing the E-50 and E-100 tanks used by the Germans, it's great to see developers doing their homework!I would say most of this game is like the old MoH titles, you are the only hope for you side winning the war. And on the last mission, there is a real sense of urgency to complete it, not saying why!I don't really understand why this game has such low reviews, I certainly enjoyed playing this game, and would reccomend it to anyone who likes FPS games.

First thing first . Yep the graphics are not great but the gameplay is amazing . The shooting is realistic and the grenades are acutully more realisic then all the cods put together.It is very very fun game to play very fun .Levels a great very addictive , but the only thing is you will find that you will complete it in three to severn days .The bad bits about this game is that how did the main character suddenly work for the army , when at the start he was a builder it does not explain that . The ending is rubbish , because you find he does all that shooting for nothing .Overall this is a great game for a bit of fun , also i would get it when it comes down in price .

Bought this game for £2 at a boot fair and it's a great little game, it just gets better and better the further into the game you get.If you enjoyed the original COD and COD 2 and the old Medal of Honour series then you'll definitely enjoy this game.I'd rate it well above all of the modern COD games based on it's campaign mode, it's a lot of fun!

You play a construction worker in New York as the Germans invade the US, so you join the résistance to fight back the German war machine in World War 2.With brilliant action and the graphics is brilliant also for 16 years and older.A must have game for the Xbox 360.10+++++/10 Video game.

I really cant understand what many other reviewers are whining about. If you played - and enjoyed - Medal of Honor games on the ps2, then this is a game you'll get into. Maybe not as flash as other war games, but for this price? You'd be mad not to.

LOVE THE GAME IT CAME IN A BOX FROM A NICE GUY AND WAS PLAYABLE THE GAME ITS SELF WAS WANK AND I DIDNT LIKE IT BUT IT WAS JUST A NICE BOX TO LEAN AGAINST MY OTHER GAMES TO STOP THEM FALLING OFF THE SHELF WELL WORTH IT ID SAY

No nonsense first person shooter. value for money a few hours of fun. Stoy starts with the invasion of America, though to the building of the resistance to a commando attack on the tower of london. Boys own stuff

People are unfair about the reviews that they give this game. It is a great idea for a game, yeah it has rubbish graphics but hey graphics are not everything.

Not the best game for graphics but not the worst, its most enjoyable i have completed it twice and i love it, deffinetly worth a go.

This game is a good starter game if your not very good at shoot'em ups, before progressing on to call of duty .
