Having played railworks 3, before it became Train Simulator.Each year the simulator gets updated around september, so you constantly updated in terms of the interface.What you don't get from 2015 to 2016 is the new routes or engines.This program is about the downloadable content which is expensive and each new edition has different content, so if you own a previous version you should be upgraded to the latest version, but you keep your old downloadable content. You don't get given the new content in this game, but as this is a steam program. You can buy a later copy and add the downloadable content to your collection at a reduced cost to buying it individually.one of the things that i dislike

I purchased TS2016 three months ago and found it installed on my (admittedly powerful) pc with no problem and has played without problems ever since. The game is what it says on the tin - a train simulator - it takes time to learn how to drive the different locomotives but, once you have mastered the techniques it is great fun to play. You also, as in real life, have to drive the different routes carefully taking care to obey all the signals and speed limits.The addons can work out expensive but you can buy as few or as many of the additional trains or routes as you want or can afford. Two or three times a year Steam have a sale when most items are sold with up to 60% off - it is worth waiting

Excellent for fanatics but the delivery is awful - 5 days with next day delivery but I got some compensation out of it plus it's not the games fault it would be 0/10 for DPD

Good game but it was a pain to download as the game needed stream to make the pc game to work. The quality of the game is okay kept going slow while playing.

There are some extensions that don't work too well in 2016. It doesn't say if there only compatible to 2015 version

Good game just unfortunately I realised my PC doesn't have a disc drive when I ordered it.
