Bought an old version years back and decided to upgrade to the latest UK version. Lots of new features and the graphics are now far superior. If you like model railways but don't have the room for a physical layout then this virtual layout software is ideal. You can use the software at its basic level but to get the most enjoyment you need to trawl through the instruction booklet which can be quite complicated and with a few german/english translation issues it could be confusing. Managed to register instantly so no problem there but be aware if you are running AVG antivirus it will try to block the software and warn of a virus.

I had no problems instaling or registering, the sim is complicated but easily mastered, graphics are superb, layouts can be as simple of as complicated as the user desires, the biggest letdown is the lack of British rolling stock, this game includes just one piece in the form of an A4 Mallard and Tender, there are no matching coaches but some of the German stock can proxy for "blood & custards" at a pinch.There is virtually no support for this game in English though I have found the German speaking forum (link provided in the game) to be so far very helpful with answers in English.Last word really is: if the manufacturer got their fingers out and developed more British rolling stock this would

The registration process however is tricky. You have two options (Online or Email). I installed the software at 8pm and tried the online registration which claimed to have connected. An hour later, still no registration. So I tried the Email approach - no joy there either (the email address existed as worked).As far as I can guess, the company issues codes during working hours, in Germany and not 24/7.The following day I received my unlock code in my Inbox. 2 copies, once for the Online Registration and One from the Email one.This process leaves a lot to be desired.But once inside!It is complex to start with, but very rewarding when you start to see the results of your work.

This is an excellent programe, far better than any similar product I have ever come across. There is an amazing selection of scenery and track options, although the menus are s complex, it can take a long time to work out how to find them.The biggest drawback, like most programmes designed for much earlier versions of Windows is that it keeps crashing and, sometimes, even hangs the computer. So my advice is " SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE" every few minutes.

Only had a short time to look at this but, so far, I am impressed. Installed and registered with no problem. Complicated to begin with but easy to find your way around. Large manual on pdf so the information is there if you need it. Superb graphics and camera control seems to be well thought out. I expect to be spending some time with this. Highly recommended.

I installed this program with no problems, and neither did I have any problems with on-line registration. However, the manual does seem to be somewhat complicated, but other reviewers seem to have mastered it, so I am sure that, given time, I shall be able to master it too!

I bought this game for a friend who is totally into trian sims and he is very hard to please, when it comes to train games. Since he has got it, he has not stopped playing it. He tells me that quality & realism of the sim is the best he has seen yet.

Perfect for the perfectionists. Your imagination is the only limiting factor. We need English versions of modern EEP products as they are missing huge sales opportunities. USA , Britain , Australia etc

its great fun learning to build a layout and once learnt easy to opertrate, i like the layouts that are included . and will spend hours on it.
