I mean that as in why is the PC version save anywhere and not the console version?,I mean Cold War is save anywhere and some people describe that as Splinter Cell Lite,it isn't,in some ways it's harder I am only playing Chaos Theory now on my 360 as it's save anywhere,my brother started the first game on console and got so frustrated by lack of checkpoints that he bought,and finished,it on PC,likewise with this.

Pandora Tomorrow tried to do a few new things with the Splinter Cell formula. New moves were added, the story was kept riveting, and the main character, Sam Fisher, got a few new moves. One of those was a sort of pirouette across a doorway. The other changes weren't so major. Thankfully.This is still a good game, but it's probably the weakest one from the Splinter Cell series. No bad thing.
