If so, there isn't much choice, and this is a solid PSU.Expect to pay extra versus the same power and efficiency in other brands as essentially you are getting a Riing fan and presumably a custom PCB for that extra cash (there's an extra socket for a cable connecting to your mobo RGB header).I mistakenly put a Thermaltake SmartPower 650W in my basket, when looking for a ToughPower 650W initially. I wanted a smart fan which would turn off on idle. I now know that the SmartPower fan kicks in at 10% power draw (65W), and consequently almost never turned off. When I changed to the ToughPower 750W who's fan kicks in at 20% (150W) I assumed it would be off most of the time, but it never turns off, despite HWInfo reading 10W on CPU and 20W on GPU on idle. I'm assuming my mobo, hard drives etc are pulling 120W, so I'm not sure what's happening yet. Could be something to do with overclocking meaning the VRMs are pulling a good amount of power even on idle. The fan is however a bit quieter versus the more aggressive curve on the SmartPower. If the smart fan was off most of the time I'd have no issue giving this 5 stars. It seems like it wouldn't be hard to offer us more than 4 default colours, that would actually add flexibility for multiple lighting colours on the build without extra controllers. LEDs can be turned off completely. I'd also like to have the Thermaltake monitoring software at this price and not another £30 on top, especially if it allowed custom RGB and fan curve controls. That would make it a 6 star product.Cables are decent, flat cables, shiny black and ok for length. You get a black polyester branded carry case for extra cables to keep them all together. The chassis is very small for a 750W which might be significant if you are looking for someing to squeeze into a small chassis.Anyway. It looks great in my Core P90 case, although I'd love a shroud over the modular cables coming out of the PSU, but that's more of a case issue. Maybe something to custom mod at a later date..Bought via Scan UK, who's customer service on the Smart Power RMA was quick and easy. Recommended so far..
