Overall an amazing PSU for the price, with one subjective hiccupPros:The power supply comes with an ATX bracket which is nice for compatibility with larger cases or cases which dont support sfx/sfx-lCompletely Modular (very rare at this pricepoint, £66 and totally modular)80+ Gold again, most others in this price range are bronze rated which arent as efficient as gold ratedSFX-L is nice for itx towers like the Fractal Define Nano-SCons:The cables are very short, this could very well be a positive given its designed form factor but in an itx tower the 24pin is so short you an only just route it to the motherboard if the mobo has its 24pin on the right,if it has it on the top you need an extensionI bought mine with a set of BitFenix Alchemy Sleeved extensions for the 24pin Power, 8pin CPU and will be buying one for the PCI-e to matchhonestly, the short cables were almost a positive in this sense as i didnt have excess cabling from using extensions however if youre not using extensions be aware of the very short nature of the cables.

This is a great power supply for my new NAS/Media Centre. I have yet to hear the fan come on at all, the hard drives are the only thing I hear. It comes with a ATX adaptor, but this does not allow the PSU sit on the floor of my particular case, I bought the SilverStone SST-PP08 SFX to ATX PSU Converter - Black to solve this and you get a better clearing between the PSU and HDDs mounted above.System is:Fractal Node 304Asrock J4205-ITXSyba 4xSATA Expansion Card2x SSD (OS & Cache)6x 4TB HDD (Stablebit Drivepool)18w idle, 40w (drops as the unneeded drives turn off)

I am very happy I came across this back panel converter! I had made the mistake of getting a huge video card for my micro-ITX build, and I could not fit my ATX-size power supply unit in the case with it. So I bought an SFX-size PSU and this converter, and now everything fits great! (The four rubber pads at the bottom of the inside of the case no longer held up the smaller PSU, so I just cut off a little piece of an eraser with the same height to use instead, and that solved the issue.)

It's heavy is the first thing I noticed, much heavier than the old burned out PSU it replaced, which gives me some confidence and it feels very nicely made. It's very quiet, barely audible in a silent room, I only wish they would make this PSU fully or partially modular as when you are building a mini-itx system space is really at a premium.

Compared to an ATX supply, this thing really is small!Comfortably runs an i7-4770k, GTX770 in a mini gaming rig with no issues.Although I could fit an ATX supply in my case (Fractal Design Node 304), this allows more room for routing cables. A modular supply (like my old OCZ unit) doesn't allow for as tidy a setup.

Very good for what it does, mesh at the bottom came in handy as well - arrange it as an partial air inlet.Star off, because for what it is, it's expensive - but these are as rare as hen teeth, so was happy to buy and not disappointed.Should fit any ATX slot, not just Silverstone ones with reasonably thick metal.

Works as intended. Be careful when buying this with a case that has a shroud over the PSU, like my Micro ATX fractal case. I had to buy extensions for the cables for it to reach a the motherboard :'( Do your research folks.Perfect for an ITX build I'd assume.

Have a sfx-l form factor silverstone psu, with this now fits perfect in new case comes with screws to attach psu only so you will need screws to attach it to case after, which any pc enthusiast would have or if you have new case should come with spares.

Excellent little PSU. Did a lot of research looking for a good but quiet SFX supply and all signs pointed to this unit. I've run the power supply flat out in my HTPC for several hours and have yet to get the fan to spin!. Highly recommended.

Quiet, comes with a handy adapter to fit a standard case and has a standard set of connectors - only one PCIe power lead but then it's only 300W. It's running a mini-ITX board and five drives happily without getting noisy.

I was looking for a power supply for my mini gaming PC. This provided me with plenty of power for my high end CPU and graphics card. The modular cables route very well in tight spaces. This made the install a breeze.

Good power supply. As silent as the other review here suggests. Only issue is that it came with what looks like a European kettle lead although the PSU itself is a UK 3-pin. So now I have to buy a kettle lead.

I purchased this for an ITX build that I was doing at the time, this fits the bill and was cheap. It has worked flawlessly since I've owned it. I could happily recommend to anyone looking for an SFX PSU.

makes fitting SFX psu into an ATX bay, simple and helps reposition the psu towards the top of the bay, so you get extra mobo clearance.well worth it !!

Really good, especially when Corsair are too cheap to include one for a £100 power supply. I will switch to Silverstone in future pruchases :)
