I bought a 2U rack-mounted case for one of my new servers which contained an mATX motherboard. While building the server, I put an ATX power supply in but there was no airflow for the fan. Because of this, I resorted to buying a fairly high wattage SFX power supply, to get airflow to the PSU while still giving the server the power it needed. This adapter plate fitted both the SFX power supply and the ATX mount in the case absolutely perfectly, and it keeps the PSU suspended off the bracket so air can flow all around it. The build quality is brilliant and the weight of the PSU feels fully supported by it. If you need to install a SFX power supply in an ATX case for whatever reason,

Office pc had a very noisy psu fan so thought I'd give this a shot looking for as close to silence as possible on a budget.Straight forward fitting, came with a plate which my case needed as the old psu was larger (as well as whooshing like a hoover). Switched on and I have to admit that I initially thought it wasn't powering as there was no sound at all but pc booted and works perfectly. The thing is genuinely silent - at least within reasonable parameters. Highly recommended for modestly spec'd pc's.

The Silver Stone SST-ST4SSF v 3.- SFX Series....., was the choice as the power supply for the building of a completely new computer system. It sat alongside a number of other Silver Stone products chosen for the purpose. There have been no regrets at the choice of brand and this power supply is no exception.The power supply is highly efficient, easily fitted (into the Silver Stone computer cube box), noise free and good value for money. It is a most appropriate power supply for the product.

I am very happy I came across this back panel converter! I had made the mistake of getting a huge video card for my micro-ITX build, and I could not fit my ATX-size power supply unit in the case with it. So I bought an SFX-size PSU and this converter, and now everything fits great! (The four rubber pads at the bottom of the inside of the case no longer held up the smaller PSU, so I just cut off a little piece of an eraser with the same height to use instead, and that solved the issue.)

Mine went into an mini ITX case. Did not have much of an option there so had to pay a premium price for this sfx psu.This is fully modular and it makes least noise.Even though it is much expensive in comparison to the full size psu’s out there. I think given the limited options out there, for a small build with a full sized gpu this is probably best for the money it costs.

It's heavy is the first thing I noticed, much heavier than the old burned out PSU it replaced, which gives me some confidence and it feels very nicely made. It's very quiet, barely audible in a silent room, I only wish they would make this PSU fully or partially modular as when you are building a mini-itx system space is really at a premium.

Very good for what it does, mesh at the bottom came in handy as well - arrange it as an partial air inlet.Star off, because for what it is, it's expensive - but these are as rare as hen teeth, so was happy to buy and not disappointed.Should fit any ATX slot, not just Silverstone ones with reasonably thick metal.

Nice fit in very small m-itx case but my sfx power supply (unknown brand) has extra screws which stop the plate sitting flat at the top area. It still holds the power supply ok above CPU fan with no sag for now, a branded sfx psu like silverstone/bequiet or corsair would maybe fit flatter.

Works as intended. Be careful when buying this with a case that has a shroud over the PSU, like my Micro ATX fractal case. I had to buy extensions for the cables for it to reach a the motherboard :'( Do your research folks.Perfect for an ITX build I'd assume.

Have a sfx-l form factor silverstone psu, with this now fits perfect in new case comes with screws to attach psu only so you will need screws to attach it to case after, which any pc enthusiast would have or if you have new case should come with spares.

Love this psu. Brilliant if you are looking to build a silent HTPC. The psu fan only comes on when the temperate hits 50 or 55 degress which is never in my build so the only way of telling my pc is on is from the actual led lights.

I purchased this for an ITX build that I was doing at the time, this fits the bill and was cheap. It has worked flawlessly since I've owned it. I could happily recommend to anyone looking for an SFX PSU.

Fan is loud at higher speeds, but tolerable. SFX is extremely compact compared to ATX, and mounting it in an ATX case will create all sorts of awkward oddities with the SFX-ATX converter bracket.

Really good psu for the money. Some may not like the lack of modular cables but at this price some sacrifices have to be made. Running my core i5 and gtx 970 without any issues

Love this very professionally designed power supply. From the braided cables, to the excellent power delivery, the mining rig loves this more than me!
