At last a brand new Crystal Maze board game. For those original fans like me, you will remember that there was a 90s version. This version is a futuristic spin, (pardon the pun), which includes a free app that enhances your game play experience with authentic sounds and timer effects from the revival series. There are many games to play and you can even play as the Maze Master, explaining the various games to the other players and keeping an eye on the time, and ensuring ALIS (Automatic Lock In) rules are followed. There are a lot of pieces to this game, it will take a while to set up initially but it's worth the fun. The Crystal Dome round is ingenius. The game features Richard Ayoade's "hand" prop,

Had been debating this game for some time and with the current situation (and a great price) decided to order it.Presentation is very good and they certainly pack a lot into the box. Quality of the parts is excellent and it took no time at all for the two of us to get going after some initial setup.The games themselves are well thought out and playing as two has the benefit of doing more of the challenges vs bigger teams although it would be a great Christmas family game to play too.As people have already said there is a danger that the games will get completed affecting replaying it. Several tasks have multiple variations, some you easily tweak yourself to keep them going and then some you’d forget if not playing for a while.

Great for all ages.The dome round is simple but genius.There are multiple versions of each mini game, some are even infinite, so you can play it enough times to get money’s worth.You play in two teams - one team sets up the game and a member from the other plays. Then swap roles for the next game. We slightly adjusted the rules so that everybody in the playing team participated at once. We played elderly v youngsters and the grandparents were way in the lead - but had a dome disaster and lost.Growing up, we always watched Crystal Maze and often did the CM cyber experiences with our parents. I brought this for the traditional family Christmas day board game, 6 of us played, two teenagers, two adults and 2 OAP's, the game went down a storm. After reading the instructions we began to play and were all soon laughing and cheering each other on, everyone really enjoyed all the challenges and although some games were trickier than others the team spirit soon carried it through. The game is very well put together and well thought out, and will certainly be used again and again. This will be joining the other favourites on the games shelf.

This game looks great and plays great and is enormous fun. It brings on the spirit of the TV programme very well. All the games are implemented well and the final Crystal Dome round is very cleverly done. The only down side is that there may be an issue with replayability. I reckon you can probably get 4 or 5 games out of it, before it becomes too familiar to be a challenge. Some games offer up to 10 different puzzles, but others are really one shot wonders. If add-ons were released, this may solve the problem.

Bought for Christmas and it’s a really great game. Not usually a fan of board games, but the tasks and range of activities The Crystal Maze board game offers is amazing. Perfect for family get-together or a game at Christmas. Highly recommend. Good luck getting all the pieces to fit back in the box and close the lid - it’s a challenge on its own!

Great game for all ages. Def need an ‘extra’ person to be the games master. Takes quite a lot to work out but once you start playing it’s really good fun. Played 2 days in a row and the second game seeemed quite repetitive of the first so not sure of the games’s longevity if same players.

We really enjoyed playing this, the game types are all well represented and the physical ones are actually quite physical! there are a few different options for the games so it can be played numerous times. The hands add a fun element to it as well. Great for rainy afternoons.

Brilliant Game, full of fun and exciting at times.You can get locked in, collect holds and silver in the dome, play a range of games which WONT BE THE SAME IN EVERY GO.this kept us amused and entertained for an hour and using the mobile app adds to the excitement.

Had great fun playing this. Only down side is that doesn't have much reusability. Once you've played twice you would pretty much know what's coming the next time. Played a couple of times and then passed on. Friends also loved the game.

Gets the whole family involved, changes can be implemented for younger/disabled players to ensure everyone can play. Really good simplified version of the game whilst maintaining the 'heart' of the show

Great game, takes a little setting up but worth it really enjoyable had everybody joining in , I also downloaded the crystal maze app for the timer and music makes it so much better.

Used this for an 11 year old's birthday party. All the kids had loads of fun - it was a big success. The games were easy to instruct and set up but engaging and challenging.

Had a good bit of fun over Christmas with this game. Can't compare to the real thing but certainly enjoyable. May get boring when you've played it a few times

Brilliant game, fun for adults and older children. Some activities require more setting up than we could be bothered to do, but otherwise enjoyable.
