Great helmet, very light weight and low profile so does not look like a big dome. Straps and ear pieces are v soft and comfortable.The front air vents do a great job of channelling air into the top vents of goggles to help prevent misting.However, on my head Oakley A frames were a bit to 'tall' and so pushed the helmet up/back slightly, which tho not ideal was not a big problem, it only moved it 0.5cm maybe.Could do with some thicker padding inside perhaps, but overall very comfortable.Fit was good, maybe a little tight at the top of the size range specified (63cm).Comes with a nice cover/bag as well for when not in use.Very pleased overall. Thankfully no idea how well it protects in a fall/impact,

Pros1. it is incredibly light! (lightest snow helmet in the world)2. great fit with enough room for growth.3. soft and comfy padding inside the helmet itself.4. soft and adjustable strap so it does not irritate your the area under your chin.5. amazing air venting system to keep you cool on the slopes.6. high quality matte finish with nice decals.7. lifetime warranty.Negatives1. No adjustment for sizing of head. ( but they do offer a wide range of sizes to fit everybody)Overall: Must buy if your a keen skier/snowboarder, best helmet I've ever owned!

If you've got a big head (63+cm circumference) or a weird shaped head in any way, or if you've never found a helmet that fits properly or comfortably, then give this one a go. My head is 63cm around but despite this I tried 4 helmets, all of which were XL 63cm. None fitted comfortably, or even fitted at all. However, this Smith offering is perfect and there's plenty of room for those ridiculous ski goggles to fit in with it as well. Good value and gotta be better than a smashed head.

This is my first ski-helmet and I am not disappointed with this one. The fit is really good for my head. A lot of the helmets I have tried rests on the front and the back of my head so there is a lot of room on the sides. This helmet does not do that but fits very well all way round.There is no way to adjust the fit of the helmet but for me it is not necessary as the helmet fits well out of the box.I can only recommend this product.

Never particularly liked wearing a lid whilst snowboarding but out of the lods I've tried this was low profile and lightweight. Fitted well with my dragon apx goggles too

Very comfortable helmet, fit perfect, ventilates great, and the special ventilation to de-foggs the goggles perfectly.Haven't tested the strength yet but assume also OK.

Have tried a few different helmets none fitted as well as this. It's also suitable for skull candy audio as well. Bonus :)

bought this to replace my old Red. this is really comfortable and light, recommend it. delivered on time and good price

Extra light! Perfect size (snug well). I didn't use it and don't know how it's inside ventilating... because 4 stars.

I would Recommend buying this smith Maze helmet. The helmet is light, very easy to wear and looks good too!

Very light. Lacks ventilation just a bit if you have googles on top of it. Solid buy for a money
