Having read of the many potential pitfalls people can experience with Thunderbolt docks, I was a little nervous about hooking this up to my Dell XPS 9365. I have 2 Dell monitors daisy-chained via DP and these can be a bit iffy, at times. The monitors need to be connected with a full DP connector to PC, not a mini-DP. Even when correctly hooked up, the screens can go black for a second or two every once in a while.So, when this arrives, I took my time - moved desk away from wall, removed cables that would be made redundant by this dock, reseated connectors, etc. Then, deep breath, connected dock to laptop, switched on ... and a bit of an anticlimax, really, it just worked.My triple monitor setup (2 Dell monitors plus laptop)
