The bottom line is I am glad I bought this bag.The pros: 1. long enough to easily hold my Nikon 500mm with body and teleconverter attached 2. big enough to also carry my iPad, phone etc by inserting my own velcro/padded dividers to act as internal side slots and for longer trips I can throw in some spare clothing too 3. Quite lightweight which helps for hikes and cycling 4. The opening flap allows me to pull the camera out with the zips just a third opened from the top so I don't have to lay the bag flat on the ground. 5. Outside side pockets can be used for small water bottle. 6. Improvised quick realease strap can be attached to the outside to prevent accidental opening.The cons : external and internal pockets are very small and are barely large enough even for cleaning stuff,

After using it for the first time, i'm excited with the comfortable feeling it had on my back. It has enough space for my gear and more (extra batterie, cards, etc) !!! High quality material, thick and adjustable padding provides required safety of gear; and plenty of compartments for small items. A five star for sure, even though a bit expensive, it's worth the cost.

The backpack is perfect for my use in accommodating a DSLR with battery pack and 100 - 400mm telephoto lens attached. Plus ample space for additional lenses and and kit to be stored.

I love this backpack! I use it to carry Alexa mini and lenses up challenging climbs for filming. It fits my whole kit in and more.

Bought this to tote a 500mm lens. Fit is perfect. Well made and sturdy. Not too heavy either which is a bonus.
