This is a very adaptable bag which can easily accommodate a dSLR, at least 2 or three lenses and a flash gun at the very minimum. If you have any of the popular pancake-style lenses, at least 2 or 3 can be easily stacked one upon another in one of the compartments. The depth of the bag should suffice for any zoom lens of up to 200 or 300mm. There is a plastic pouch which can accommodate several lens hoods, filters or even spare batteries. There is also a spare divider to enable extra partitioning if needed. If the depth of a compartment needs to be reduced, to avoid delving too deeply, a piece of plastic foam or polystyrene can be added without any increase in weight.The bag is quite lightwhen empty being constructed nof fabric-covered foam which provides protection for its contents without adding too great a weight burden. As a soft bag, it cannot protect its contents if dropped or crushed but it should provide sufficient protection if treated with care. A soft carry handle on the top provides a comfortable way to carry the bag even if full, should you not wish to use the shoulder strap.Typical of most of LowePro's designs, there is a pocket at each end outside of the bag and another at the front with slots for several accessories including filters, a pen, lens brush and perhaps a mobile phone. Within the lid is a zipped pocket for memory cards and it will certainly hold 4 if in the little plastic cases sometimes provided. Without them, each pocket could easily hold 2 or 3 cards each although there aren't many who would need that quantity - battery power would have run out long before!Within a hidden pocket is a plastic 'rain coat' which can cover the whole bag and make it quite rain proof. Without it, the zips protect the bag and its contents from light showers. It has an adjustable nylon strap which clips to two loops and is quite wide at around 4cm or more and with a soft shoulder pad in place. One thing missing is a means to attach a tripod although there is space within for a minipod of some description.The overall design of the case is such that it opens in reverse; the main compartment zip is normally located against the body so that it may not offer an easy opportunity to someone with sticky fingers hoping for a lucky 'strike'. At the front is the accessory compartment which has a security clasp with a zip within; the main compartment uses the same types of closures. This is common almost throughout the whole range, regardless of series.If you need greater capacity, you will need to switch to the Novo range, which tend to be a little taller and a little longer.I have several of these bags, each from a different series and with widely differing capacities which are used as needed.Well constructed and easy to carry.

Good quality bag from Lowepro with built in raincover; this can be at bit fiddly to fit, make sure that you practice before it starts raining! Bag has zip to rear for access so everything doesn't fall out when opened. I don't feel it is especially well padded at the bottom of the bag so I will try not to drop it on a hard surface with my kit inside. The bag has two removable dividers so I have removed one and used it to add extra padding at the bottom of the bag where the front of the lens lens sits. The bag is just big enough to take all my current DSLR starters kit - Nikon D40 with 18-55 lens, 55-200 VR lens & hood, spare battery & charger, lens filters and memory cards.There isn't much room for anything else though. The memory card pouch in the top is useful to save having to root through the bag. It has a belt loop fitted but I think it would be too bulky to be a practical option, stick with the shoulder strap. Good price on Amazon compared to Argos (for example) who were £15 dearer. Happy with the purchase overall.September 2015 Update -I still use this bag although it is due for replacing due to wear and tear. The top flap of the bag is looking shabby now after 6+ years of trekking/holidays and being stuffed into daysacks in extreme weather. Both of the plastic fittings which attach the shoulder strap to the bag have broken and I have replaced them with small Karabinas. One of the two zips that give access to the main compartment has broken; I'm planning to replace the bag before the second follows and leaves my camera open to the elements. I've been really pleased with the protection this case has given my camera equipment, I have used it in Arctic -40 C degree temperatures to +40 C desert environments. I would still give it 5 stars today.

I needed a photographic shoulder bag to replace my old trusted (but worn out) Hama one. I used Lowepro's "Bagfinder" to pick one that would fit my Canon 40D with 17-55 2.8IS, 85/1.8, a YN-565 flash, a 9.7" tablet and more small stuff like triggers and batteries.The Rezo 180 arrived within 8 days to Greece, securely packaged.Impressions: it's very roomy, yet it appears compact. It's certainly well-made. The available separators are enough for many different configurations - I removed them all though, to make more room for all the stuff I need to fit into.I would also like to clarify two things: a) the strap clips are metal, not plastic like I read on some reviews and b) the all-weather cover that protects the bag,is not hard to fold down and be put back to its socket after use.I edited this review to indicate that, after 2-year use, the zippers proved to be poorly implemented. They have left their "rails" (I don't know the correct word) multiple times because there is not a proper "stop" at the ends, the "rails" have been torn from the side walls of the bag 2-3 times in the corners, and local tailors have told me that, because of the way the "rails" are sewn, they can't be repaired with a a sewing machine.I have repaired/reinforced everything zipper-concerned myself, but it certainly doesn't feel right to have to do for a bag that is of such quality otherwise.Overall, if you don't face the problems I did with the zippers (it may be a bad sample), the bag looks good, feels great, and holds everything securely even under rain.One last thing - the reverse-open lid. Some find it awkward. For me, it was a key selling point. I walk around literally ALL day with a bag, and this certainly feels safer than my previous front-opening bags.

Construction seems sound and solid, but I still can't work out why the big flap doesn't offer direct access to the main section, the flap just seems superfluous as all it does is cover up another zipped pocket at the front. I bought this thinking that the main flap opened up to the main pocket but it doesn't, and it wasn't worth the postage to send it back.The bag snugly accommodates my Canon 1000D (one of the smaller DSLRs out there) with 18-55 kit lens and 55-250 zoom lens, and a 430EX II Speedlight flash in it's case, though the back of the body is right at the top of the bag; if the flash was replaced with a lens it would be a very tight squeeze down the middle, as it is this lot just fits in nicely.There are enough pockets for extra memory cards and batteries, at a bit of a squeeze the front pocket will take the Canon charger and mains lead. I suppose it may be possible to stack two smaller lenses in one of the main section compartments meaning 3-4 lenses might be carried, but again at a tight squeeze (and there would be no room for a flash). There is one side pocket on the outside which is quite tight so only good for very slim items such as lens cloths, filters, etc. The usual integrated soft cloth acts to protect the DSLR screen and can be used to clean smears off it quite effectively.Looks-wise it's plain but is quite obviously a camera bag that potentially contains quite a bit of expensive kit, I'd prefer to have a more non-descript bag that looks a bit stylish and less of a snatch target, but have yet to find one that matches the build quality I have come to expect from Lowe Pro. I will be looking for a camera backpack for those hiking days out as this bag is not really suitable for such activities.

This is a well-designed small digital SLR bag, made with the usual impeccable quality we've come to expect from Lowepro. I am using it with my EOS 1000D with the 18-55 kit lens attached, and the 55-250 zoom alongside and it fits really well. The front flap only covers an accessory pocket (complete with mesh/elasticated compartments) rather than opening the main compartment itself, which unzips from the back which means you can get easy access to your kit when you are wearing the bag. There is a carry handle on the top, or a really lengthy strap which would be long enough for almost everyone to wear across the body.There is an elasticated pocket to one side of the outside of the bag, and also,tucked away in its own compartment under the front pocket is the all-weather cover which can be easily pulled out to protect your equipment from the rain.Inside the main compartment itself, there are two movable partition pieces attached by velcro to the body of the bag so that you can customise the space according to your needs. The inner fabric is super-soft to protect delicate items. Clever additions include the micro-fibre cloth which can be used to cover the screen of your camera to protect it from scratches, and the memory card organiser on the roof of the main compartment. There is also an additional elasticated mesh pocket to one side.There isn't room for masses of gear in here - but having said that, when I'm on a day out, I don't want something enormous and heavy to carry around with me. For the price that Amazon are currently selling this bag, it is a great buy and I would thoroughly recommend it as long as you don't have too much that you want to carry about.

When I bought my SLR I invested in a smaller Lowepro bag which suited my needs at the time. After slowly adding lenses and accessories to my collection, it was time to get something bigger to hold them all in. Because of this, I was looking for a bag which would be suitable as both a stay-at-home case but also, if the situation suited and if I wasn't sure what the day would hold (i.e. lens length), be able to take it out and about with me. Therefore I wanted a sterdy, spacious but not a rucksack bag..the Rezo 170 seemed to cover it all.After a quick think, I manage to arrange it to store my D40 with lens attached plus a zoom lens, kit lens, macro lens and flashgun (and a few accessories). OK,so it's a tight squeeze but I wouldn't want the next size up because the bag is a great size for day trips out. Saying that, the bag doesn't look or feel like it's bursting at the seems. The inside works nicely though, three padded "columns" of equal width allowing you to choose how, where and what to put there.The all-weather cover is a great addition as I tend to be outdoors for a lot of shots so I don't need to worry about the rain destroying my bag, or more importantly, what's inside it. The best bit is that it's stored underneath so it takes moments to quickly pull it out and over the bag. The front flap intially consfused me as it's on the front but doesn't open up to the main pouch but to the accessories holder - a nice addition to increase safety from yourself and others.Definitely a great bag if you're after something to look after a novice amount of kit.

I bought this bag after doing quite a bit of looking around. I'm really happy with my purchase - the quality of the bag is excellent and above that of others I have looked at. I'm expecting it to last me a very long time. The bag is well padded, and there's plenty of space in there for my camera (an Eos 550D) with a lens attached. I'm only using the kit lens at the moment, but I reckon you could leave most of the popular longer zooms on there too as there is a fair sized space above the camera. One feature I really like is the cloth screen protector inside the bag, which is microfibre and cleans the screen up very nicely. There are two velcro dividers in the main bag for adjusting to store a couple of extra lenses or accessories,plenty of room for extra cards in the bag lid. The whole bag is very well sealed with nice quality zips, and there is a rain hood for the bag which comes out of a compartment at the front if you get caught out with the weather, although I think you would only need this if it really was raining hard. I tend to use the carrying strap most often wearing the bag like a satchel, which is comfortable. The 170 isn't the smallest of bags but I plan to get quite a few accessories and carry a couple of extra lenses with me and I don't find it a problem carrying a sizeable bag so for me it's perfect. If you want something different, there are plenty of others in the range to choose from - just check out Lowepro's site, which I found very good. I would recommend Lowepro and this bag to anyone looking for a proper carry case for their DSLR.

After spending days trying to find something that fits my very basic budget as well as something that is good, I came across this Lowepro Rezo 120. Reputable brand and reasonable price made my decision quite easy. When it arrived I wasn't expecting something special but boy O boy.. its a very lightweight bag with very soft and high quality materials.Features:There are pockets on the inside of the flap and on the front of the bag. The actual camera pocket opens through zips which are on the back end of the top so no one can access it without you noticing [good for sleeping in the tube ;)] the front flap gives access to front pockets only.there is a pocket on one of the sides which is a bit of a struggle to use due to the strap hook but it can store odds and ends, I keep my usb cable in it. The inside of the bag gives you a moveable divider so if you have a smaller camera you can adjust the partition so camera fits snugly and doesn't move about and then there is a lcd protection cloth which is fixed to a side so you can put it on top of your lcd before folding the strap on top and closing the lid, very clever!Surprise:Just when I thought alright that's all, I noticed a small tag peeking from underneath the front pocket and it read 'All Weather AW Cover' guess what? the bag has completely rainproof cover hidden behind the front which you can pull out and cover the bottom,front and top side of the bag so your camera is safe. I have tested it and it really works.in short, if you are looking for a shoulder bag, doesn't matter the budget, go for it!

I spent quite a while trying to decide which bag to get for my Sony A230 and finally decided on this one, rather than the toploading type. I was really only looking at Lowepro bags because of their reputation and with this bag I wasn't disappointed.It is well thought out and has good build quality, seems to fairly robust and has a decent amount of protection. I have also found the rain cover particularly useful while up on the moors where I do the majority of my shooting. It has some nice touches like the muffled zips, strechy pockets and soft cloth built into the inside to protect the LED screen. It is nice and comfortable to carry with the shoulder strap too.Downsides are that it only just fits my camera in (sideways rather than lens down)so is a slight squeeze but nothing to worry about really. You just have to measure your camera carefully and check the internal dimensions before buying. Secondly, it says that the bag has a "SlipLock attachment tab for additional accessories" which I presume refers to the belt loop at the back. Looking at the pictures I assumed that the stretchy side pockets were the loops and that I would be able to attach my lens case (Lowepro lens case 1) to them. My mistake I guess, though really I was looking for something I could attach the lens case to. I do, however, just attach it to the belt loop though which works fine.Altogether a decent bag that does the job and I am pretty happy with it.

Arrived this morning, and I have to say it's spot-on for the Nikon D40 and its additional 55-200 VR Zoom lens.When I first purchased my D40 I bought a Tamrac "Digital 6" case to carry it in.The Tamrac Digital 6 is a great bag, and as long as you're only carrying the D40 it's all you could ever want. Trouble is, I subsequently bought the additional zoom lens, and it won't all fit in the Digital 6.I'm happy to say that this Lowepro Rezo 160 does the job perfectly.I particularly love the microfibre cover that fits over the back of the camera's screen so that it doesn't get scratched by the folded up strap.The Tamrac case also had a zipped compartment in the lid,and the zipper for that used to hit the camera's screen if you were't very careful when packing it.This bag has none of that. It's a great design. I haven't tried the waterproof cover yet, but I have no reason to suppose it will be anything less than excellent.One thing though - This bag is a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures! That's a good thing for me as I don't like huge bags, but make sure you measure your camera before ordering.I'll keep my Tamrac bag for my Nikon F65 35mm film SLR which fits in there perfectly, but if I was buying again I'd just have the Lowepro Rezo 160.All the bag you'll ever really need. Perfect!

I ordered this bag to go with my Sony A230 as the price was excellent, and so were the reviews. I'm very happy I bought it.The padding is good, the top opening towards the hip is comfortable, there are little spaces for memory cards, filters and such; and all are all well-positioned. It also has a little-built in jacket to pull over the bag for rainy conditions. I haven't gone out in rain yet, so don't know how effective it is. The compartments inside the bag can be moved around to your liking. Very happy with this lightweight bag.My only quarrel with the bag (but not worth taking a star off the final score since it is a good bag) is that it is for one extra lens, and not two extra lenses.I added a 50mm prime for portrait shooting, which is obviously smaller than the kit 18-55mm lens. The centre portion of the bag is now 'comfortably full' and I could't fit a 50-200mm zoom in there. It wouldn't really fit since in my opinion, if you're lugging lenses around all day you don't want them bumping into each other the whole time. They should have snug little places for themselves, and you'd have to pile them up in this bag, which would then barely close. So if you want a dslr + 1 extra lens & small accessories, excellent choice for you! However, not for two lenses as the title would indicate.

I needed a bag that would carry my camera along with 3 lenses and some accessories. I saw this bag and it looked like it would do the job so I ordered it.The bag comes with plenty of separators that can be moved about to suit how you want to place things in the bag. For example you can set the bag out so that you fit a camera along with one of canons 70-200 f4 lenses still attached placed sideways in the bag. Anything longer than this would need to be removed from the camera body. If you lay out the bag so that everything needs to be placed vertically in the bag then you can get away with 4 medium sized lenses and the body with no lenses attached.I currently own a 500D with the canon 70-200 F4,50 1,8 and sigma 10-20. I can fit all these in the bag with any lens left attached to the camera (depending on bag layout) and i still have room for another lens or flash if i get one in the future.It also has a front pocket which can be used for extra carry space as well as some pouches in the lid for memory cards and cleaning cloth.Included is a water proof cover that is stowed away in its own slot under the bag. This can easily be pulled out and used to cover the bag in-case of rain.I find it comfortable to carry around and would recommend this if you have a similar set up to me.

The Lowepro Rezo 160 shoulder bag is an excellent solution to carrying your digital camera and its accessories safely while still allowing you easy access to your equipment when you need it. The bag holds my Panasonic DSLR and all of my equipment (excluding tripod) perfectly and offers brilliant protection with its well padded, soft and customisable interior. The waterproof cover is excellent. It's hidden out of the way when you'll not using it and takes only a few seconds to easily pull it out and over the bag. More to the point it works well, I've tried it out in moderate rain but I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to have it out too long on very heavy rain (but I'm pretty sure it would be fine.)The bag is very comfy to carry, short or long distance it won't put a strain on you. It's also lightweight, has been well designed and looks professional, as it has been constructed to a very high standard, offering superb quality and excellent value for money. I know that Lowepro bags always seem to get glowing reviews, and to be honest with quality like this, it's not hard to see why. This is one of the best, if not the best camera bag I've ever came across, and I highly recommend it to you. Especially considering the very low price it's currently at.

I've been using this bag for several months and it has been a great little bag - small but able to fit plenty of gear, and padded and protective of its contents without unnecessary bulk.The kit I use it with usually consists of:- Nikon D40 (would be fine for any DXX, not sure about Pro sizes)- Midrange zoom- Shortish telephoto zoom with hood (I carry 55-200mm, 70-300mm not sure about)- Small prime- Selection of filters in their cases- Couple of memory cards- USB cable- Pens, paper/small notepad- Combination of keys, wallet, cards, etc, whenever neededPlenty of space, and probably could find more for another small prime or other small items.Interesting design with the zip to get at the camera on the inside when on the shoulder (good,nothing falls out) which means the flap seen in the photo covers the front zippered pocket, for some reason I'm not sure about. Very good construction and protection for typical bumps and knocks, and waterproofing against typical English rain and general dampness. There's also a real waterproof cover permanently stowed under the pocket for serious downpours.Conclusion: Does what it says on the tin, a great little bag.

Really wanted a bag because I was too scared to take my new camera (canon 550d) out without one, so I sort of impulse bought this in a shop somewhere else (For £31. Currently I only have my camera and the kits lens in there but it definitely has room for more.The zips are a little tricky; a touch sticky and don't follow the path you expect them to, though that may just be me. I haven't used the wet weather protector yet; it comes out of its pouch very easily but only covers the top, the front and the sides. I guess I'll just have to hug it if I get caught in a shower.I do like that it has a mobile phone holder in a protected front pouch, that is zipped and has a flap over for extra security.There is also enough room in there for a couple of cards and keys so I don't have to take my whopping great handbag with me AND the camera bag (unless I want all my unnecessary junk).I bought this in a camera shop and was guided by a very experienced member of staff to whom i described exactly what I wanted (I told him the camera and lens I have and the lens I want to buy) and he told me this would probably be the best one (it wasn't the most expensive they had either).
