I bought this to hold all the memory cards I use to keep them together when in storage or whilst travelling. I shopped around a bit, looking for alternatives, before purchasing this one, and I am very pleased with my decision. Upon opening the product, it immediately felt sturdy and well build - just how I need it to be when it gets chucked into bags full of other gear. Each slot has a number in it, which I have used to correspond to numbers I marked on my cards to keep them organised, which is useful for keeping track of what is on each card, and knowing which card is missing if I manage to misplace one. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because cards to seem to have a tendency of falling out of their slots when the holder is opened, however, when it is full (i.e. 8 cards) this problem is definitely not as big, and I would say that this minor gripe should not be a deal breaker. All in all a functional and very useful product, which I would recommend to anyone looking for a way to keep SD cards well protected and organised. It's worth noting that, contrary to the appearance of the picture, my card holder was plain black, rather than the frosty-grey colour shown - although I think this looks nicer.

As SD cards are the almost universal form of storage for digital cameras, you need some means to store them securely, and in a single location which not every camera bag facilitates. With a collection of different SD cards purchased at different times and from different manufacturers, of which some came with cases but others did not, being able to find one in the bottom of a bag is not always easy or reliable. The loose ones are kept in a case pocket but the design is such that they can be difficult to locate or remove. With eight numbered receptacles available, if you have several identical cards but keep certain files permanently on one or more and which you do not wish to accidentally reformat,it should be possible with this case to identify those which are completely data free and available for use.The case is quite solid and heavy and just about crush-proof under normal use. The rubber inserts will keep my SD card collection safe, easy to locate and to insert or remove when needed. I shall buy another for use with a second camera outfit.

I spent quite a bit of time comparing different memory card cases on Amazon and ended up choosing this one despite the fact that some reviewers said the cards may fall out when the case is opened. Unfortunately it appears as though all SD card holders suffer from this shortcoming. This particular one turned out to be very ok. It's sturdy -- as a matter of fact it looks as though you could nuke it and hold it under water for a long time without damaging the cards inside! (For the record, I haven't tried either) It's a hard plastic case with pretty thick rubber on the inside to hold the cards. The cards fit in snugly -- one card kept falling out whenever I opened the case but I've now moved it to another slot and the problem is fixed. This simply means I can never fill the case with 8 cards without running the risk of losing one, but that's a fair price to pay for a case that is otherwise fine and doesn't cost much. I'd recommend it!

I decided I needed something to store my camera SD cards after putting them down and a few days later panicking because I couldn't find them !So I purchased this case. I keep it in my camera bag which means I always have spare SD cards when I am out taking pictures. The rubber pockets inside the case hold the cards securely they don't fall out even when the case is turned upside down whilst open! The case is very strong and offers great protection for my SD cards, I am sure I could jump on it and the cards would be fine after!Highly recommend, you wont be disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. Got some weight to it, feels very solid and the rubberised holders are ok although in my experience you need to put the security tag side of the card in first and then clip it down as one pocket was a bit tight and ripped the tag out of an 8GB card and one pocket was a little bit loose as well - thus only 4 stars, but otherwise secure. The hinges are all moulded as part of the outer cover so not sure how long they will last but the weather seal seems ok. All in all well happy to secure my 8 SD cards.

This storage box ("tote"?) is a hard case with a thick rubber rubber lining. There are eight recesses for SD cards: the slight "give" of the rubber ensures the SD cards fit snugly and are retained securely. The two catches keep the box closed well enough, but might break off after extended use. The box will keep eight cards as safe as is possible with any portable storage this small. Though I don't propose to try it, I think cards inside would survive the box being run over. What more could you want? Is it worth the money? Definitely!

This case is perfect for those who want a protective case without paying the ridiculous price of Peli products. This has almost exactly the same features as the Peli equivalent. I purchased this to protect my SD Cards from rugged situations (drops, knocks and weather) This product has come up against all of that and the SD cards remain in tacked.I highly recommend those who wish not to spend the money for Peli based cases to use this one as a good alternative.

This memory card holder from Delkin is great. All of the cards stay in place and it stops me from losing them. The case has a bit of weight to it, compared to what you might expect for a plastic product, which makes it feel more premium and well-made. At £6.99 it is a little pricey for what it is, but if it saves you from losing SD cards worth more, along with valuable photos, I think it is worth it. This is easily the best memory card holder I have seen.

I bought this at the same time I bought the similar CF card holder. These are great for keeping all your card media together in one place. Tough, with plenty of protection inside, I am impressed with how well built they are for the price. The interior of the case is moulded rubber which both grips and protects the cards. Each slot is numbered so you can use that as a reference for your cards if you want to. Well worth it though for price.

Nice quality item. It's very strong and sturdy indeed - the cards also fit snugly too. It really does offer a lot of protection. The only downside is the weight, it is quite dense plastic which isn't so good for those that want to travel light. Light and strong would cost more of course.Recommended item if you want/need to protect your SD cards.

If you are forever losing track of where you put your your collection of SD cards, this is probably for you.I find myself rummaging in the bottom of drawers, but because these cards are small, i usually end up having to empty the entire contents, before finding that elusive card stuck in the corner.

These cases are really good hold 8 cards and I label each case with the type of SD card, 32GB, 16GB etc and holiday films of the once in a life time holiday, in my case South Africa, I don't won't to go over them. I have 4 cases now, better than being loose in a box. Quick delivery as well.

Although I admit the cards DO come out of their little square holes, they only do so with a good drop or bang - and you shouldn't be treating your cards like that anyway - and it is no big deal to put them back if you DO drop it (will teach you not to). Great for the storage of spare cards.

This card holder is excellent. I am fortunate to having seen this item on Amazon. At this moment in time I have only two SD cards but, as years goes buy I will probably fill the card tote. Even if I have one SD card as a Christmas gift, it will take me only six years to fill.

5.3.2011

The delkin sd memory card tote is robust and will safely hold 8 SD cards with out fear of damaging them. I have always had the little single clear plastic holders that end up getting misplaced. As I fill this one and need more storage I will sertanly buy another one.
