The Defender is a lovely kit, especially for the price. I've had one Tamiya kit before and I'm relieved that the excellent standard of instructions has been maintained.The best I've experienced. It needs application. It's no good getting a screwdriver out at once and charging on. You need to familiarise yourself with the instructions and follow them. There's much that is fiddly. This is not a criticism. It's what you should want; if not, buy a read-made car. Good value for money. It is not international competition level but you can compete with those in a local club with every chance of winning. There's no radio control gear included, apart from the speed controller. Great for all ages apart from youngsters.

CC01 Chassis is a good build platform for the LR Defender 90. Substantial and strong in the right places with plenty of metal components and all metal gears in the differentials. Supplied with escape and lighting. Good value.

Well detailed RC model good chassis the body needs strengthening be careful when painting body shell

Bit too soon to review, only arrived today(as promised) but husband very pleased with it.

If you want to build a model of a land rover defender.. this is a great starters kit.
