Land Rover is of the highest quality. Functions like a detachable steering wheel, connected via the sunroof, allows better controlled driving. Suspension, opening doors bonnet bonnet further adds to the realism. Not forgetting a useful full towbar, which brings me to the potential negatives. Although the towbar holds a trailer securely, I'm not sure it'll withstand constant fiction uncoupling yet still maintain a firm connection or will it wear and become easy to accidentally detach. And I've had a quick try but unable to get a Bruder figure to sit in the front. Certainly wouldn't be easy for a child. Okay small stuff aside. This was a Christmas present for our 2 year old son who is landy mad. We have an old series III landy and he loves everything about it so this toy was an obvious choice.We've had it played with constantly since Christmas and it comes everywhere with us. After numerous drops and crashes it's still going stong. Admittedly we have lost the back wheel and the tow bar seems to be missing something as the horse box does'nt fit anymore but otherwise all good. Considering we got it for a 2 year old when it's recommended for 3 years and up we expected some damage and its outlived my expectations.We will be buying our little one the pick up version for his 3rd birthday and wish that we had the money to

An excellent product, well made - and not just fun for kids; I bought this for a friend who was having trouble working out his technique for reversing his 2 axle trailer; a new experience for him. There's an extra steering wheel that pops in through the sunroof so you can steer it easily from the top, et voila - he could practice his reversing safely on the dining table - or simply have a great toy for when his little grandson visits.One thing bemuses me, however, is why is it £33.13 on Amazon UK whilst it's €283.99 (£233.52) on Amazon FR - Doh…?

Excellent quality product. Purchased for my 3 or 4 year old nephew (he's about 'this high') because his mother has a horse and I thought he would enjoy pretending she was involved in the towing etc. BIG ISSUE - his mum started playing with it more than he does. This is very worrying, addictive behaviour.The quality, attractiveness and the features mean I am definitely going to buy more of these for him in the future, like a digger for example, and I'll just have to make sure his Dad keeps his hands off.

Wow, this is much bigger than I was expecting!There are loads of little features that make this toy a joy to play with for my little boy. The steering wheel turns the wheels, the Land Rover has suspension for going over bumps and the horse box has a wind-down front wheel, just like a real one. All the doors open and there are little seats inside. A bargain for the money, I'll be looking at more vehicles from Bruder in future.

Tough and big. This combo will delight both boys and girls. Detail is superb and the accessories that go with it would make a farm or stud complete. The horse and box keeps my grand-daughter busy and the Land Rover my grandson. Made in Germany so keeps jobs in EEC and not far east pity we have no British manufactures anymore! The rival Brittains owned by Americans and made in China is not so good.

Bought this for my young boy's 4th birthday. He was obsessed with horse trailers and his eyes lit up when he opened it.Tool can be removed from underneath the landrover, which can be inserted through the sunroof and used to steer it.He's had hours of enjoyment playing with it.Great buy!

This is what my son wanted and having other bruder vehicles I knew what to expect. Quality is good, lots of moving/opening parts and great price, very happy with purchase, also packaging minimal and almost totally recyclable, made my sons Christmas

Always played with Britain's toys when I was a child and loved them. Bruder are a lot larger but still built really well and control like they should. Easy hinges so doors can be put back on and the suspension is great.

Our granddaughter thought this was fantastic. She took it to school to show all her friends. She loves pretending that she is going to competitions with her horse!

Looks good, detail really good, it did have a broken wing mirror when it arrived but the issue was dealt with quickly and effectively.
