Having been somewhat sceptical about energy saving bulbs in terms of their appearance in small light fittings such as bed side lamps, I was pleasantly surprised the compactness of this product. Although it suffers from a one minute dim warm up delay - be patient - the final light is good and reasonably warm in colour but low heat output/energy use and hopefully long lasting to pay back the enormous cost compared to tungsten golf ball bulbs.

This gives a great light. I needed a good quality low energy but strong enough light for my art desk lamp. It was very important that the bulb gave a strong and even enough light. This product certainly does. Very please indeed and very fast delivery too. Thank you!

Really good light bulb for a floor lamp,gives a warm light thats easy on the eyes,tried lots of well know stores to find a screw in bulb with the warm light effect but only found on amazon,recommend to anyone where bright lights effect them this is for you.

I bought this item and found out it was the wrong size, so it's still packed in it's box. I had to buy another one the same but a little bit bigger and use it in my bedside lamp. It's brilliant.

Fantastic bulb, seems dim at first but once it warms up it's sufficient! Has a beautiful warm colour to it.Bought it for my lamp almost 6 years ago and it's still working!

Takes a while to warm up to full light, but that's par for the course. Light is a nice mild colour and the bulb seems sturdy, couldn't really ask for more.

Saves me walking around the shops and paying parking fees just to buy an energy saving bulb. Delivered to the door, what more can be said?!

Takes a few seconds to warm up to full brightness - I find that charming. I’ll write more when I’ve got some idea how long it will last

am very satisfied with the 2 bulbs sufficient illumination and the big plus as in it being energy saving...am pleased wityh my purchase

arrived safely lights up lamp very quickly which is what I wanted. No heat either, time will tell for usage but happy so far.

I needed this bulb for an angle lamp for office purposes but it would equally be good for leisure use.
