I was originally using a 900mm x 300mm mousepad from Trust Gaming, but unfortunately it started to fray slightly around the area where the mouse was doing most of its movement (I assume because of the feet on the bottom of my mouse) - and because of this, I was finding that my mouse was occasionally getting caught on it, so I felt it was time to replace it.I had no intentions of getting an RGB mousepad, as I felt that it was a bit of a gimmick and would be a waste of money. I managed to get a great deal on this mousepad and I am so glad I pulled the trigger and went for it! I've always heard great things about the SteelSeries QcK line of pads - and I was set on buying the regular XL pad until I seen this one.I'm so glad that I went for it because it is amazing quality! The cloth surface is soft and spongy to the touch, and the stitching around the edges is really nice quality. The 2 zone RGB strip is also really bright (the colour/brightness/mode can be customised in the SteelSeries Engine software) - and the lighting looks very uniform all around (the only brighter point is around the hub where the USB cable runs from, as this is where the lighting starts). With the nicer feeling surface, I feel like my mouse accuracy has increased, and I have the nice RGB feature as a bonus. Highly recommended!

Wanted to upgrade from a basic mousepad to improve mouse response and feel, which is useful for basic mousing but essential when gaming. My choices were the Razer and Steelseries products as they are considered high quality. I picked this one as it's fairly large without being huge and quite thick at 6mm.The surface is a fine cloth bonded to a rubber base and it clings well to my desk. Mousing across the surface is noticeably smoother and lighter than with cheaper mousepads, making for more accuracy and allowing me to use a higher DPI without penalty. Very useful when playing FPS. I only have one criticism and that is the pad took some time to flatten out completely as it's rolled up in the packaging.-1 for this. Thinner pads ought not to have this issue, but as I say, it flattened out after a couple weeks.Would I choose it again knowing this? Yes, I would, as it's a great surface and after three months it feels better than when it was new.

Received this mouse from Steel series as part of an RMA from another product, and seeing the design of this LTD edition gaming mouse pad made me buy it straight away. Ive never owned a Steelseries mouse mat before, but i would deffinatley recommend this to anyone before deciding to buy the cheapest mouse mat possible!. I love the feel of the surface of this mouse mat, which almost feels like your touching silk, its so smooth!. I dont own a "gaming mouse" , just a regular wireless mouse, and it deffianley feels 100% better than anything ive used in the past. The underside is non-slip rubber texture. so its suitable to sit on any surface really, and the glide of the mouse feels smooth without any lag.The size, even though i chose a small is plenty enough for any gamer to use and resting your palm on it feels cool to the touch. I 100% recommend this product to anyone interested in purchasing a gaming mouse mat or just for regular use.!

This is a solid, non-nonsense, thick pad. Heavier than ordinary pads, which is a big plus. The combination of cloth surface and rubber base is exactly what I prefer.Very glad that I bought this 6mm one instead of a 2mm thin one. This thick pad is much solid than I expected: even with my right hand totally rested on the pad, the deformation of the surface was neglectable.Flattened to working condition overnight. Here is what I did: got the pad out, and rolled it back into the package - the other way around. Left it there for 1 hour. Then, laid it flat on my desk overnight. Right now, it's totally in working condition, even though a slight curve is visible when the pad is lifted in air. No big deal, the pad is heavy enough to lay itself flat against my desk.

I love the Steelseries QcK Mass Mouse Mat, its large, does't move around on the desk (glass desk btw) and its very comfortable. I use my mouse for video editing, which a session time wise lasts as long if not longer than a gaming session about 8-9 hours on average. The longevity of this mouse mat in extend use is good on the arm/wrist too, as such I have never had any pain/strain related issues using this mat. Its size, weight, simplicity plus texture are what make it a good buy. My only issue is that I can attract dust and friction related bits i.e. hair & those little bits that come off your clothing. I have heard that you can wash it, but honestly I would say its not enough of an issue to warrant that.5/5 stars!

I suffer a little bit from pain in the ulnar bones where they meet the wrist. This can cause some discomfort when gaming (I use a track ball for work but a mouse for gaming) so a mat like this is great. It gives just that little bit of padding to make resting on the desk more pleasant and avoids the need for those evil wrist pads you see some people trying.Large size too to give options. Surface is uniform and my Logitech G900 tracks beautifully on it. The tiny bit of ‘stick’ the soft surface generates compared to a hard surface suits my gaming style. Much prefer it to a hard pad or bare desk.Absolutely love it and recommend.

The QcK heavy/mass has a control surface; rougher than the silky smooth QcK, which i prefer, and stays relatively clean, at a very reasonable price. The Mass is a big mat and a good size even for a big desk such as mine, I had the Qck+ which too big. All at a very reasonable price. The one downside is how long it takes to get flat, the first day or two is terrible, mine took week to get relatively flat, and a few months to iron out the micro wrinkles I felt across the surface. Steel Series really need to pack these flat, rolling them just doesn't work with the Mass/Heavy, as it did with the Qck/Qck+.

Having an old sub-A4 sized mouse mat that was looking a tad weary, decided to bite the bullet when I saw this sizeable beasty on lightning deal, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered. That said, I'm very glad I did.The size/footprint of the thing is awesome, and it is a well-finished item. Tracking is perfectly fine, and the size is such that I can now happily navigate across a Web page without having to lift and reposition my mouse. I am not a gamer, so cannot really comment from a game's perspective, but I am well pleased and would happily buy another should the need arise

This is by far the best gaming mat I've used. It is accurate and without any problems for mouse tracking or when using custom lift of settings. It's a lot thicker than I was used to being a squidgy foam surface but the extra cushioning is actually surprisingly comfortable without effecting precision at all. Having previously used a Razer Goliathus I would say this mat isn't as slick feeling as there is a little more resistance which I prefer. Absolutely Ideal for serious fps gamers who want both control and speed.

This is a great mousepad and the extra thickness really helped as my desk at the time was quite uneven. Super smooth and easy to use. Never had any problems with tracking or catching on anything. Only thing is after a couple of years of use there is some slight wear on one side where I rest my wrist, but this is just some slight discolouration and a slightly rougher surface, but still usable. I will probably get another when this one wears down more. Also very easy to clean and holds its shape well

It's amazing how much one of these can change the feel and accuracy of a mouse. I use this with a Logitech MX Master 2S and it's like I'm using a different mouse. The 2S is a heavy mouse which I couldn't really comfortably use for gaming, but with this mousepad it just glides like a feather. I got the thicker option of the mousepad and I'm very happy with it.Would recommend for gamers and non-gamers alike! You'll be surprised how nice it feels to glide your mouse on this instead of wood or glass.

Read lots of reviews about SteelSeries mouse surfaces and thought I'd give this one a go. This is a nice thick foam rubber type of mat with a very slick fabric top. The rubber underside prevents it from slipping around on your desk. It is quite similar to the old ALLSOP mouse mat that I use to have, and also loved. But this one is much bigger, giving you more room to manouvre. Very nice indeed. Highly recommended.

The extra thickness is a must; feels like a very sturdy product. I immediately liked the tracking speed (Perfect balance of control and speed for myself).I've now bought 3 of these (Work, Home & Spare) and use them with 2011 & 2013 Razor Deathadders. As for the curling problem that others are mentioning, I've taken 2 out their boxes, rolled them in reverse and they've flattened completely in a couple hours.

Love the Steel Series QcK Mass - just the right size (most mouse pads are really too small and flimsy - IMHO), it works great on uneven surfaces, the mouse zips across it swiftly as you want + I figure it'd be awesome for anybody suffering with any kind of carpal tunnel problems. The reason for this is that one's wrist is cushioned due to the thickness of the pad...In short, it's a five - star product.

Never owned a mouse mat, usually just use the desk but my god, I love it, only problem is if you spill something on it you're gonna need to wash it, and thoroughly because it's like a thick sponge.otherwise, it's perfect, I like that it's thicker, you can kind of put more pressure to slow down your movement.Very nice, I got it on sale and best thing I own for my computer. Must have.
