This is a set of 30 Stabilo "Type 68" felt-tip pens. Don't get confused by the "Rollerset" label in the description - these are not rollerball pens; rather they come in a lovely roll-up case that's fastened by Velcro. There's also a little zipped compartment at the end (about an inch wide) for any odds and ends you'd like to store with it.When rolled up the set is a little longer and wider than a tin of beans. Each pen has a simple pull-off top, and is quite narrow. However the hexagonal cross-section means it's easy to hold. Each pen has a nib of 1mm. This means that's it's very suited to writing and lines; less so for colouring in.There are 25 normal colours, and 5 neon ones - green, pink, red, orange, and yellow. The normal colours are black/greys (3 pens), browns (2), greens (5), blues (5), purple/mauve (5), peach (1), reds (2), orange (1) and yellow (1).This set works out at about one pound per pen. Good value if you'll use all the colours, but less so if not. However on the plus side, if you do buy this you're unlikely to find there isn't a colour you need. Unless it's white, silver, or gold.

I am loving this set of pens. They are nicely held in a roll which can be tightly bound with an elesticated velcro clasp to save space and opened flat to present all of the colours for use.I've used Stabilo 68 and 88 before and I already know they are high quality and these have not disappointed. I would recommend adult colouring to anyone, I find it very relaxing and enjoyable and therapeutic. This set makes it a joy.The ink, for want of a better description, has a good wetness to it without it going straight through the paper like some. Though it's still necessary to be careful of what's underneath. These can also be used as marker pens, for example on sticky notes, though not all of the colours are suitable. They are too thick for regular writing but OK for cards.Regarding the available colours, there's a good choice though I wish there was a greater selection of brighter colours. Over half the colours here are dull though I like that there are shades of grey.Overall highly recommended along with an 88 set for finer detail. I wouldn't choose anything else, they are worth the price definitely.

I'm delighted with this set of stabilo pens.I do a lot of creative writing, which requires mind-mapping and multi-coloured corrections to the first draft. These pens are ideal for that and also for my hobby of 'adult' colouring in - I like to make poster sized pictures which I feel are good enough to display, at least on my own kitchen wall. These pens are genuine Stabilo, a make I've loved for years, in just about every colour you can think of. The nib is medium fat, so beware if you were hoping for the slimline writing nib that Stabilo are famous for - this isn't the right set for you! These pens come in a great wrap around artist's pouch which seals with velcro and is easy to wipe clean. However, the picture on Amazon is very misleading as the pouch is a bright pillar box red, so if you wanted that brick orange shade they're showing, that could be a negative. For me the red's great. All in all, a decent price for really superb pens which I know from experience won't smudge, dry out or run through the paper.

This Is a great set of felt-tip markers, and for a very good price as well, especially that the case is included as well. £27 for a pack of 30 is coming to less than 50p per marker. The roll-up case is a genius invention, it takes up less space than standard pencil cases plus it is very easy to see if any of the markers are missing. Additionally there is small zip pocket for other items, such as pencil, eraser or pen.I got previously Stabilo fine liners in the same type of case and my daughter has been always taking them to school. They are her favourite. Those are a bit thicker, the tip is about 1 mm wide. Perfect for all kinds of school and art projects. Also, the selection of colours is rather good, from pastel shades though regular colours to neon markers… everything you really need is in this case. And to make things better those markers last for ages and do not dry out so easily, even if the cap is missing for a couple of hours. They are washable as well.

There are felt tip pens and there are felt tips pens. Some you give to the kids to abuse, others you give to the professionals to do art. Stabilo's Premium Pens are certainly for those that are serious about colouring in and this pack comes in a lovely rollerset. The pens themselves are a varied selection of shades and have a thin enough edge for detailed work, whilst you can still use them to colour in larger areas if required. We have used them for detailed plant designs to be used in textiles and they are ideal for this. The rollerset is well designed and the pens lift in and out easily. You can tie it closed so that it fits in the bottom of an art bag. I would say that for a sixth former, university student or professional artist this would actually make a valid gift as the set is both nice looking and functional. If you do end up using one of the felt tip pens, you can replace it and keep using the rollerset for a long time afterwards.

These 30 'felt tip' pens are not your average felt tips! Firstly, the colours are gorgeous - so many hues to choose from. The ink colour is very good and provides smooth, even coverage on the page. The nib is not as fine as I expected, which I was happy about - they're wider than a rollerball ben and are indeed more like a standard felt tip in that respect. They promise to not dry out even if the cap is left off for 24 hours...I admit I haven't tried it to that extent yet, but when I have left the top off for a while whilst using them they still worked well. The pouch they come in is very handy - it rolls up for easy carry/storage. At full price (£47) I would've given them maybe 4 stars, but the current price (£23-ish) is good value for pens of this quality - still not the sort of pens you'd buy for a child's everyday colouring activities, but for adults who enjoy colouring or artists/designers, these are a good purchase.

My 6 year old daughter absolutely loves arts and crafts. She can literally spend an hour colouring and decorating a single picture so this was a real treat for her. There are many benefits to Stabilo's felt-tip pens and for this set in particular: they don't dry out that easily if the lid is kept off for a while, the pen-point (68) really helps with colouring within the lines and the rollerset approach to store them is just a great idea (long gone are the days when you have to keep looking for that special pink pen everywhere only to find it months later in a separate drawer...). And with 30 different colours, the possibilities are truly endless! My wife is also planning to use these pens to add a bit of colour to our Xmas cards this year.I am definitely impressed by this rollerset.

This set of 30 coloured pens come in a very neat wrap, that rolls up very compact for storing in the house or keep in your bag.It has a zipped pouch within the wrap to keep small bits and pieces. There is an individual space for each felt tip pen keeping them in order, there are 25 wonderful colours and 5 neon colours. They are hexagon in shape so feel nice to hold. Each tip is 1mm wide enabling you to use them for narrow work or covering a good area.It does state that the lids can be left off for 24 hours without them drying out, personally I'm too scared to try but I guess if you get distracted and leave them they won’t dry out.My 7-year-old daughter has her eye on these but I’m insisting they are for my adult colouring book!#therapeutic

Stabilo make 47 different colour felt tips and in this roll there are 30 of them. The ink is water based and washable, so these are suitable for both very young or very messy artists. The nib is about standard width (1mm) and the pens produce an even flow of solid colour. You can leave the caps off accidentally and you have 24 hours to remember to replace the caps before the pens dry out. This is so innovative, the pens are cost-effective at Amazon's price. RRP is a bit OTT though. The roll case is a brilliant idea: much easier to find the right pen at a glance rather than scrabbling through a tin or pencil case. The holder is wipe-clean and holds securely with a Velcro strap.A lovely selection of quality pens.

STABOLO's pack of 30 'Pen 68' set comes in a smart little roll up case that is held together with Velcro to keep everything neatly together. There's a variety of 30 different colours, so are spoilt for choice. The felt-pens are very lightweight and comfortable to hold; they very much remind of me the hexagon pencils. This set isn't cheap, so not something you would get unless you had a passion for art etc... The thin tips make them great for line-work but are also good for colouring in; even more so, the ink dries so quickly, it doesn't smudge which is could save a project from being ruined.Overall, these are top quality felt-pens, would highly recommend.

These pens are great for transporting around as they come in a roll up container with a velcro fastening. Huge range of colours, and good quality providing great coverage. Have ridges on, which make them easier for little fingers to grip. Love that you can leave the lids off for up to 24 hours, great with kids around. The only thing that would have improved them for me is if the mesh at the top was replaced with plastic, as if a pen happened to leak whilst being carried around, then the leak would be all over your bag rather than being contained within the roll. But, just a small thing and not really an issue. Would recommend.

When selecting felt tip pens one can buy generic cheap end pens or more expert pans and if being used for art projects then the latter are essential. Whilst much art is now done via electronic means there is something viscerally satisfying about art by hand. These pens have 1mm felt tip, defined (and actually) a medium tip they are able to do finer work but good for larger colour sections and the 30 pen pack has a great range of shades. The roller pack allows for more compact storage and is darn useful. These particular pens don’t smudge when working.

If you're a little bit OCD, then this may be ideal, as you can neatly keep all the felt-tip pens in perfect order. Although once you start using them, you may find this the opposite of relaxing, having to put them back in exactly the right place every time. High quality felt tip pens. Lots of colours, and a really nice range of Neon felt tips. Obviously expensive, as it most stuff from Stabilo. But worth it, if you want to get something as a gift for someone. Easy to use as fine felt tip pens, or use them on the side for thicker colouring / drawing.

At last, a way of displaying and keeping coloured pens in order, stored away. This handy workman's roll, keeps the pens individually filed and spaced - no rummaging in a box looking for a particular shade of blue. They're all laid out in a lovely spectrum of colour, with a mesh top so you can see the pens. The roll is secured with velcro, and there's even a zipped purse at the end for keeping pencils, rubbers or writing pens. Well thought out and practical. And of course, Stabilo pens are the best - perfect for colouring and writing. Love them.
