I've just splashed out on a chalkboard and whiteboard easel for my daughter and three drywipe pens were supplied. These rub off brilliantly and I was desperate to get her some more colours. I read so many reviews of so many of these pens and eventually plumped for these.I'm glad I did. These are excellent value for the quality and came in a very handy hard plastic case...as advertised.To start with it felt like we were writing with hard tips and the ink seemed more watery than the original pens that came with the easel. However, within a few days the tips have softened and the ink seems to be flowing a lot more evenly and appears more vibrant than before.We left a lot of drawings and words on the board for more than 24 hours and they rubbed right off without any problems.At first there is a slight see-through residue, but a few more wipes and this is gone completely.I think a good board really helps. Also, once you start using cleaning solutions you're probably going to have to carry on using them indefinitely. Another thing some people do is try to use more abrasive materials to clean their boards. If your board is good, you shouldn't need to.I'm totally happy with these pens and would advise anybody who's having trouble with them to get a new board and ensure you get a proper whiteboard cleaning pad to go with it. There should be no reason to use cleaners or more abrasive cloths with these pens.If anyone's interested (and if Amazon don't mind), I bought my easel online from 24Studio. They have a blue and pink option. We have the pink one.UPDATE December 2013: Five months on, these pens are still being used every day and none of them have run out of ink. They're still writing like they're brand new and I'm still VERY impressed with the quality.

Staedtler is a company that I have always trusted when purchasing stationary supplies for my a level art work and they have never let me down. I had purchased a whiteboard for my exam revision and wanted to buy some whiteboard markers that are likely to last a while with a variety of different colours.So far I have been using these markers for around a week and a half and and I am extremely pleased with them; the colours are vibrant and I have no problem in them leaving any stains on the whiteboard as they glide right off with just a piece of kitchen paper. I gave the product 5 stars purely for this reason, the markers do not even seem as if they are running out yet, considering I am constantly using them.They have a comfortable grip to them which I think is quite important and sometimes when I am not revising, I will even use them to doodle and draw with so they are definitely good for quick doodles if that's what you would be purchasing them for.This product has been given a well deserved 5 stars, however the only slight problem I have with them is the smell that the marker gives; it can be strong at times, I am now used to it however this may be a problem for some people as when I first used them the strong smell did give me a headache (I am quite sensitive to things like this). Taking this into consideration if there was an option for 4.5 stars that is what I would have given.Overall, these markers are wonderful and definitely worth the price for the quality, they are also refillable which is helpful and the case in which they are held in works so that you are able to stand the pens up for easy use; I am sure to be purchasing these again in the long run when mine do finally run out.

I'm a bit fan of Staedtler stuff - my Aunt swears by their ball point pens as the only brand she will use, and likewise my wife says that no other whiteboard marker comes close to these. Sure there's many that are cheaper, but it's a false economy when they run out of ink or dry out prematurely The colours are vibrant and the pens always work flawlessly each time.The big difference between these and the other cheaper brands is that the Staedtler ones seem to last much longer, and because they are described as "dry-safe" it means that if someone forgets to put the lid on after use it doesn't mean they are useless after a day or or two.Finally the box itself that they arrive in is nice - it doubles up as a handy storage case,much better than the plastic wallets that the cheaper alternatives come so.So in conclusion these are excellent pens at a decent price - not the cheapest you will find but for value for money they come out top for us becuase they last so much longer than the alternatives. The colours are vibrant and everything wipes off easily from our whiteboard even if it's been left for a day or two (this does seem to contradict one of the other reviews who said it left residue after being left overnight, so I can only assume it depends on the make of whiteboards it's being used on as it's absolutely fine for us).

I've tried a lot of whiteboard pens, many of which were terrible. The are by far the best I've used by a big margin. The tips allow quite fine and accurate writing. The colours are bright and strong and the ink wipes of easily without leaving a residue. The plastic storage pouch is also a really nice addition, especially if you need to transport them around.Other pens I've used leave a greasy residue which builds up on the board over time, making the surface dull and prone to smearing. This residue seems quite difficult to clean off. These Staedtler pens not only don't produce this residue they even seem to recondition dirty boards! I'm not kidding, when you wipe off their ink they leave a cleaner patch where their ink was.After a few weeks of using these pens the whiteboards in our office look much cleaner and no longer suffer from smearing. It must be down to the ink formulation which must be much better than that other companies use. Whatever it is it works extremely well and these are the only whiteboard pens we'll be using in our office from now on.

colours are excellent and the pens are high quality which is to be expected when their made in Germany :)the pens can be left out without the lid on and won't dry up although i would never do this.the lids take a bit of force to remove which is good as they certainly will not fall off. the package holds all 6 pens very well and is ideal for storing the pens and taking them on travels as pens slot into the packaging without moving about.the pens writing stroke is very thin and like the tittle states more they like a hand writing pens than a board markers.the pens do state that they are 2mm (think i over looked this detail).so they are only ideal for close up usage which is ok for me as i'm only using the whiteboard for ideas and problem solving but if your intention is to use the whiteboards for classes then i recommend 3-4mm pens. checking my old pens they were 3mm and can easily be seen from 5m.not suitable for distances over 3m if using for classes. i recommend these pens only for personal use on own desk

Disclaimer: Am a Staedtler fan and hence seldom hesitate buying a Staedtler product; Staedtler reciprocates and I have never been disappointed (ever)A few months back I bought a whiteboard for my room, I coincidentally bought (as Amazon suggested) a 5 Star Office Drywipe Starter Kit of Drywipe Eraser and 100ml Cleaner and 4 Whiteboard Markers Assorted pack; and I repented by doing so (I have left a review on the product page); however sanity prevailed and am back to Staedtler and Happy again.Staedtler marker pens are smooth flowing, offer brilliant colour(s), great tip size (narrow to broad (depends on how one holds the marker);what else do I say,am very happy (so happy that I also bought a the whiteboard for my 5 year old (for her room) and this time bought a Staedtler Marker set alongside (a wallet of 6 and a wallet of 4); I would also recommend Artline Drywipe Whiteboard Eraser Magnetic for Magnetic Boards(I bought a Blue for self and Pink for my daughter, which she loves)

My 3 year old is obsessed with drawing on everything. So luckily we have got laminated floors and so we let him go wild. The challenge for us was to find good quality washable markers. The ordinary ones were either drying out within a week or the tips pushed inside easily (the toddler has managed to push all the previous one one handedly)I am happy we found those markers.Pros:1. They are very comfortable to grip and hold for a toddler as they are thick.2. Tips are staying in place even when pushed really hard.3. Considering you close the lid and keep them upright they will last for a very long time.4. They are wiped out easily. Just use the dry piece of cloth or the special whiteboard sponge.Do not use the wet wipes as we did, they have something that will dry out the markers quickly.Cons:1. My little one started drawing more with them. So cleaning floors 5 times a day is not what I was looking for ?

I have always used STAEDTLER Whiteboard markers, so quality wise, these are fantastic. However, I do find the yellow colour hard to read, the orange is not much better, and the red and black are the hardest to erase, even with a clean eraser. I have no trouble with the other colours.Those minor gripes do not put me off ever again buying STAEDTLER whiteboard markers. Whenever buying whiteboard markers, I will ALWAYS recommend STAEDTLER. If you are someone who writes exclusively with black or red, do expect to put in a little more effort to clear your whiteboard. The packaging states you can leave the lid off for days without the pens drying up, I have tested this, and it is true.Overall,if you want a set of whiteboard markers, don't bother looking at other brands, but do think about whether you need the yellow marker (The 6-pack version does not contain brown or yellow).

easily the best whiteboard pens I've used. Have used both the 4 pen pack and the 6 pen pack in the past. The 4 pen pack is red, blue, green, black. The 6 pen pack includes the same plus purple and orange. The purple is great, the orange a bit weak, plus the size of the 6 pack makes it a bit less portable, but overall I prefer the extra choice that the 6 gives you. Often the 6 pack is just a few pence more so generally offers better value.The pens themselves write smoothly and cleanly and are chunky enough that they feel comfortable in your hands, aren't as easily lost, and seem to have a longer life than some other whiteboard pens (not neccessarily cheaper ones) that run out surprisingly quickly.The rounded tips give finer writing than some other pens which is great for collaborative group work writing up notes and brainstorming pictures/diagrams

When it comes to stationery, I will almost always buy Staedtler products, due to the quality (especially when it comes to ordinary pencils). I have a 900mm x 600mm whiteboard in my bedroom. I have used Staedtler whiteboard markers for years and have gone through a few sets, but whenever I used another brand, I would always go back to Staedtler. The quality is far superior to other brands, including EXPO, Berol and STAPLES. An added bonus to these pens, is that the cap can be left off for days WITHOUT the pen drying up, I have actually tested this.These are fantastic whiteboard markers, and when wiping off on the board, they come off much cleaner than other brands.These markers have also lasted longer than the others I have used. I very highly recommend buying these whiteboard markers, and Staedtler products in general.

This set of whiteboard pens is brilliant. You get six pens, housed in a plastic case/box. The top opens up, but can also clip and fold back in to a stand. The pens are purple, red, orange, green, blue and black. I love the purple. They say the cap can be left off for 14 days without the pen drying out, but in haven't tried this.. And rather not..! They have a large nip, depositing plenty of ink from these chunky pens, leaving bold, clear lines. They're also apparently refillable, they look good, feel good and appear to be a product of high quality. Not a single issue with this set of pens. I would definitely recommend paying the little bit extra for this quality set as not only do they do the job,they are they a pleasure to use. They were also delivered well packed and in a timely manner.

I have been very impressed with these pens. They are packaged in a sturdy solid plastic case which keeps them tidy and within easy reach - a much better form of packaging than the flimsy plastic pouches that this type of pen often come in.The pens themselves are great. They write clearly and fluidly and have no strong odour as some do. The colours are strong, and very close to the colours of the cap, with the exception of the blue which is a little lighter than the cap suggests (although personally I prefer it!) They wipe away easily and don't leave marks behind, even when the writing has been left on the whiteboard for some time (I've used them to keep track of freezer contents,so some writing is up for a couple of weeks before being removed and it's never stained)

Got these yesterday and I use the magic wall chart as my whiteboards. The orange colour is faint and will not have great visibility several meters away, the other colours are easily readable from same distance. They feel very good in your hand and write beautifully. Was able to dry wipe off this morning with ease and without any smudging. I always return cap after writing as habit, so I can't comment on leaving caps off for long periods, that being said if they deliver quality with longevity then I am over the moon, for time being I recommend this product. Please note the date stamp as this will act as continuous review as far as longevity of product quality is concerned,I will report changes if or when experienced. Thank you Amazon, received package 3 days early.

Pros: Long Lasting, High qualityCons: Orange can be difficult to seeOverall i am happy with this product, I still use all the colours and have done for over 3 months and they still all work perfectly fine and show no signs of running out. I think the range of colours within the pack work well together and allow me to colour code my college subjects easily. The orange can be hard to see in some lighting, especially if I need to take a picture of the whiteboard for any reason. The case is convenient to keep my space more organised and props up to make it easier to remove the pens and put them back.Definitely well worth the money and I would recommned this brand to anyone because they always seem to make high quality things.

A decent set of pens for the price. I have yet to buy a Staedtler product that isn'tgreat quality and these pens are no different.These pens get used by my daughters who have virtually destroyed cheaper penswithin days (or, on occasion, minutes), so I particularly liked that fact that the penlids can be left off for days without them drying out. The pens also have a lockedtip which prevents my daughters from bashing the the tip right into the barrel.The pens are also both xylene and toluene-free, which is good for everyone. Thebox doubles as a stand and the pen colours are dense and have been easy to cleanfrom our whiteboard.A definite thumbs up for these markers.
