This comes with two different pieces, a standard Speck case (for iPhone 6 or 6S), and then the VR piece that the case clips into (you need to have the case on your phone, or something of basically he same thickness/width and has the same grip) While the VR goggles don't block out light from the top/bottom, they are completely foldable, and fold down to a nice and easy to carry size (could even go in a pocket, but easily stores in a bag). They use elastic to keep everything setup and clamped on the phone.It is Google Cardboard certified, so that means you can scan it, and any app that is built for cardboard can use these and setup itself for them, which is really nice.

The phone case is nice, and the VR viewer is neat. I could be happy with the phone case for a while, but I will likely go back to the LifeProof cases I usually use. The VR viewer is fun, and it got me to finally try out Cardboard and Jaunt, but I don't see myself continuing to use it past the trial period. I instantly thought of it like the Angry Birds game, everyone in my house is going to want to play with it for a week and then nobody will care anymore. If the VR functionality improves, I will likely require a better viewer for it. This seems like an introduction to VR viewers type of setup to me, which is what you would expect at this price point.

The novelty of the VR experience provided a lot of the early joy. It was cool to look at and fun for the kids and myself. Content is an issue...VR is only going to be as successful as what you can view with it. So as far as this product goes it is very portable and also fits onto my phone without using the Speck case, so we were able to pass the viewer around the family without changing the case. Like others have said, the lack of a strap means you have to hold it up with your hands. But I enjoyed this product and it is high quailtiy, now hopefully the apps and content will continue to improve.

This is definitely one of the better VR integration for Google cardboard. The case protects the phone well and doesn't make it too bulky. The VR attachment is collapsible for storing. The attachment will not lock in with any other case though so you need ot use the Speck case in the packaging. As of right now, Google VR is a fun and immersive experience that's more cool than useful but that's a statement for VR and not the case.Pros- Nice high quality case- VR attachment is collapsibleCons- MSRP may be a bit high compared to other offerings

They work! Very easy set-up. I set it up in less than 10 seconds. Has a really nice phone case that you can use even without the glasses. Works well with every app I've tried, even Google cardboard apps. I only wish there was a strap that I could just place on my head instead of holding it up.

Speck's Candy Shell Grip Case is worthy of 5 stars. The VR is a cute add-on. The VR would be more practical if the viewer came with a head strap but it doesn't , thus the down grade to 4 stars overall. It's fun but I don't see a long term use once the novelty wears off. Kind of pricey as well.

Pretty much the smallest and sturdiest VR viewer with the best lenses one can find.Not removing a star, but i wish I could snap my Speck case into into as well when travelling.
