Summary: A classy, well made / sturdy product that offers first class protection but that does compromise Apple's sleek design principles a little.Review: I use an iPhone 4S and I've had my Speck slate grey case for 6months now. It has protected my phone from serious destruction / extinction twice. The first time I fell in the river whilst punting, fully submersed, and somehow, amazingly, my phone that was in my pocket at the time worked fine straight afterwards. The second time my phone fell 2.5m out of an overhead locker straight onto a hard changing room floor. Again absolutely fine.So in terms of protection I can't fault this product. This item arrived on time, nicely packaged and does it exactly what it said it would do, and at the same time as making your phone look funky and cool.I spent a lot time reviewing phone covers for my iphone 5 and initially I opted for something that cost under £5, I wasn't really impressed with the quality of the product and was hesitant about spending a lot of money on another case, but I am so pleased I did.This case fits perfectly well and I have no issues with sound or not being able to use the camera or the charger, it is a nice bright pink colour and I know it will protect my phone excellently (

I cannot believe how well built this phone case was when I received it!I purchased the peacock option.I love the colour! It's a turquoise like Blue!My favourite part of this case was the Lock and Volume buttons! So soft and it makes a very satisfying "click".I've dropped my phone (in this case) about a dozen times! And it's holding up well... Yes it's starting to show some signs of ware and tear, but that's just like any other case... The inside of the case is a soft rubber, and so your phone is not going to get a scratch on it! That's if you wipe your phone before installing!The camera hole does not have any issues with the flash neither material covering the camera lens.

Perhaps I'm asking for too much!I like the compromises made by the designers of this case. The back is shiny plastic, and very tough. Once the phone is in you do have confidence that it will not come out again easily, and that it will be protected pretty effectively from anything but a face on smack from a sharp object. It's "table safe", and the rubbery interior offers nice impact protection.But the interior material extends out to form the table safe rim around the screen, and that material is anything but pocket friendly. It's sticky against fabric, and the whole case is just a wee bit too bulky for me. Tiny details matter when you spend so much time with a device.But I've yet to come across a better case,

I bought a Speck case for my Google Nexus 7, and despite choosing the wrong colour (blue, picks up dirt too easily) found it a well made well fitting case, so when I saw that Speck did a case for the Galaxy S4 decided to get one for this. My wife also has a S4 and has a case bought from a stall in the local shopping centre and the difference is chalk and cheese. The Speck fits superbly provides excellent protection from everyday bumps and whilst I won't risk deliberately dropping my phone from height, the case looks as if it could reduce serious damage if it was dropped. The control buttons work well and I have had no problems connecting the charger or headphones.I would highly recommend this

this is a great case, exactly the same as sold by the apple store for £30, so less than half price. trying to get the phone out of the case is a little hard,"look on youtube people show you easy ways"but id rather that than it falling out, like they do on the belkins case, its a nice snug fitting case. the 2 piece case what speck had for iphone 4/4s is what i really wanted but seems like thay stopped making them, speck if your reading this start making them again i know a lot of people want the 2 piece case back, i was in the apple shop looking for the 2 piece case, and lots of others was too, rant over.This is the best case i have seen to date SO grab one while they are at this price :)

I love this case.I bought the same kind for my S4 2 years ago and it hasn't failed me once, regardless of how clumsy i am!So i figured it was worth the price. (£20 is expensive for a case in my opinion), but its damn worth it.Allows peace of mind with day to day use of your phone, im more than happy to just chuck it on the desk daily, not to mention the countless drops.The case itself now has a small dint in the corner where i dropped it, but its nothing more than a dint proving it can take a hefty tumble and still protect the phone.If you're looking for a durable case for an S6 i'd highly reccomend a case like this! :)I'll no doubt be buying one for my next phone too :)

Good all round protection for the phone from scratches, knocks and drops. Lovely lip on the edge of the front to protect that side of it. Looks very smart and fits the phone PERFECTLY! Love how it's flexible yet it's made of sturdy plastic.You get used to the size quickly - however when you remove the phone from the casing you realise how small the actual phone is and how this case makes it seem twice as thick. It's a waste of Apple's sleek design - which is the only reason I don't keep the case on full time. However the Candyshell case certainly does have a nicer feel in your hand (ergonomic) over the phone by itself. Less slippery.BUT really good protection...

I really love those cases! They don't look childish or lets say cherry pop styled with strange windows to show off your "Apple" logo.The iPhone 5 really fits well in the case just a little click and the silicone/rubber inner case almost melts with the iPhone 5.Feels robust Feels great, good anti slip design and the buttons "besides the home button" are also covered and presses really really good and a fine feeling!After all cases I owned for the iPhone 4 and 5 I really think those speck candyshell cases are most professional and good looking cases on the marked for this price value!They're really rugged! And worth the money!

I previously had the black speck candyshell, which due to my own fault (taking it in and out of the case too much) wore out. I purchased this on the friday, and it arrived on the monday, so very quick delivery. Something however, doesn't seem right.. It may just be me, but I'm slightly wary after reading other reviews. The plastic feels thinner, and the rubber around the front doesn't seem to protect as well. It doesn't quite seem to feel like the last one, although it is new, so I expect it is just because the old one was used a lot. Purchased via The_casing_store, fulfilled by Amazon.

Have been using CandyShell iPhone cases for several years and haven't found anything better. Yes, they're bulkier than some, but I've dropped them countless times on concrete without any damage to the phone. A 4-5 foot fall will break the case though ... The only downside is that they're quite difficult to get on and off - more suited to fit and forget than regular removal. If you're a careful type then the CandyShell may be an overkill, but if you've got butter fingers and/or don't really treat your phone with the respect it probably deserves then they're pretty much faultless.

I received my Speck CandyShell in a goody bag at a conference in summer 2013 and I have been using it ever since on my iPhone5. It has protected it from damage and aside from the back being a little scratched (which after 18 months is perfectly acceptable) it is fine.My phone has survived my clumsiness, being used my my two children (aged 5 & 3 so not at all gentle!) and even being dropped in the bath - I hold its great condintion entirely down to being protected by this case.Amazing quality and I will definitely be purchasing a Speck case next time I get a phone upgrade.

I have had this case for about a year now and I will only ever replace it with the same kind. I have told all my friends and family to get it and they have been just as happy with it. It has survived so many accidents, from falling out of my hand onto concrete to being flung across the room against a door. My phone is still in great condition with no damage (touch wood). The rubber by the charger port is not as rigid as it was because the S5 has a cover which means it is being interfered with everyday but still works great so not a complain but a remark.

After seeing a lot of reviews saying it is fake, I thought I would try one anyway. I bought this from Amazon themselves. The back of the packaging has a holographic security label which you can verify online to see if its fake or not.I have had 2 Apple cases with the holes on the back which kept coming off in my pocket and switching the phone on to silent!!! This Speck case fits nice and snug around the phone and also doesn't have the fog effect when taking a picture with flash ( like another flip type case I tried )

If there had been a dodgy batch in the past then somebody must have resolved the issue. This is my second Speck case and it is as good as the first. My last one got quite a battering as I constantly dropped my phone. I'd rather replace a case because it's "battle damaged" it than have to repair or replace by iPhone.The case is sturdy, looks lovely and fits snugly around the phone. I've recently bought another one in a different colour for my partner and that is of the same standard. These are well worth the money.
