This game is really funny. The mouthpieces make it very hard to say certain sounds and so trying to say the ridiculous phrases on the game cards, (which of course heavily feature the sounds that are hardest to make), and getting people to guess what you're saying is nigh on impossible...but results in a lot of silly, dribbly fun. There are both small and larger mouthpieces, so there should be a size to fit most people. Whilst most of the people that have so far had a go at this game have used the mouthpieces with no problem, unfortunately a couple of us had problems with the mouthguards - one of the kids has very wonky teeth at the front and found that the mouthpiece was therefore very uncomfortable as it was pressing quite hard on a couple of the teeth. The other person is older and has issues with their gum health and they found the mouthpieces very, very uncomfortable on their gums and even experienced some bleeding. They said that they wouldn't use them again - despite having fun playing the game - as they were worried about damaging their gums further.Overall, though, this is a very daft game that is providing lots of amusement in our house. Sometimes our teenage son and his friends just wear the mouthpieces and have fun trying to talk to each other with them in. At least they're off the computers for a bit!

To play this properly you need at least four people and ideally at least two kids as it has to be played in teams. I warn you it is very funny! Basically, it’s a variation on charades, expect you can speak. The problem is your speech is impeded by a mouthpiece which makes it difficult to speak clearly. The phrases on the cards are tongue twisters with some awkward vowel sounds which are tricky to convey clearly. The mouthpiece has to be slowly placed in your mouth - it gets easier with practice. It comically lifts your lips away from your teeth so exposing your whole upper and lower jaw. If you have poor teeth or gums this is not for you,and if you use dentures forget it.The game is not serious but it is ludicrous and it’s very hard not to laugh which is not easy with this ridiculous device in your mouth. You need to wash them thoroughly in between uses and best stick to family members as I wouldn’t fancy using a mouthpiece which belonged to someone I was not well acquainted with!

Exactly the same concept as the original game but this time with adult size and kids size plastic mouthpieces so now all the family can enjoy this hilarious game. It’s a very simple and easy to play game. On your turn simply pop in your mouthpiece and start the little egg timer. Then take a card from the correct deck of cards and TRY and read out the phrase that is written on the card. There’s two decks of cards, Blue ones are for the kids and the red cards are for the adults. The idea is your team mate needs to correctly guess what phrase you are trying to say with the mouthpiece in your mouth. If they do guess correctly, you keep the card and take another card.Keep on doing this until the timer runs out. Each player gets two turns each and then the game is finished. The team with the most cards wins. It’s a very silly game and trying to guess what your team mate is saying is hilarious.

A very fun party game (especially if it's with adults who may have had a drink or two). It's premise is pretty simple: stick in the mouthpiece to distort the phrase on the card, and your team has to guess the phrase in the allotted time (using the egg timer). Plus, after all that, just say some other words that spring to mind! It's silly but fun and that's what you need during the party season!FYI: This is the Kids V Parents version, and comes with small and large mouthpieces (make sure you wash them out after use).

Speak out games were a huge hit last year - this version for families to play is great fun - parents versus kids!Wearing a dental frame which stops you talking properly makes even simple sentences difficult to say - some of the tongue twisters will have you in fits of laughter.More dental pieces can be bought on Amazon if you need them - but the game comes with enough for most families.I can imagine many families playing this over Christmas get together.Let the fun begin!Highly recommended product.

this is a great fun family game. there are 2 sets of cards, 1 for adults and 1 for the kids with some great phrases on. on your turn you wear a mouth piece and have to read out the phrase on the card, sounds easy but with the mouth piece on its not! we had some really laugh out loud moments with this game and its been played a number of times. it comes with both large and small mouthpieces and I have been washing them in boiling water witch seems to be working fine.good value for a family game as well.

Ridiculous game, unhygienic and dribble but hilarious. Suitable for most over 8 mainly because of the size of the mouth guards. There are over 200 cards but really the cards are matterless it is about the fun laughing at your friends and family trying to speak without the use of their lips. It can get a bit frustrating and probably gives a little insight into how frustrated people with real communication difficulties must feel. I suspect one of those games we play once or twice a year.

We have the original version of this and whilst it worked well during an adult or older child gathering, it did leave the younger one out a little for two reasons....1/ the mouthpeices were too big and impossible to get into a younger persons mouth2/ some of the cards were a bit 'risky' in terms of their content or phrases/words that would be unknownThis version of the game addresses both of these and therefore makes it more family friendly.

You know the idea: insert dental mouth guard in mouth, try and say stuff, fail, laugh hilariously, cover stuff in drool. It just screams Christmas fun doesn't it? You'll certainly do all of the above. There are mouth pieces for adults and kids which are both on the large size so some smaller adults might find it easier with a kids one. Lots of fun had alread and looking forward to roping in a few more relatives come Christmas time.

Had us in fits of giggles, it's not the sort of thing you want to play every night, and after a few rounds, it was too easy to be good at it, but as an occasional thing, it's brilliant. You can be whizzing along doing card after card and then be stuck on one word, uselessly repeating it, contorting your mouth to find the elusive consonants. We play two versions, one a sort of aided charades, and one with no signing allowed

The game couldn't be more simpler and I initially thought this would only be entertaining for kids and not really appeal to adults. But once my kids persuaded me to play I must admit I was hooked! Absolutely hilarious to play, it really does provide some very comical moments as you frustratingly try to say phrases while wearing the mouthpiece, all very silly but great fun, an excellent family game.

This game really does produce a good laugh all around. My 6 year old found it hilarious and could get what i was saying after some goes of trying. The complaint i have is the mouth pieces are harder than what id like for wearing a while and not comfy. Shouldve been from silicone or something softer that doesnt cause discomfort. I got it when it was very cheap so thought why not. Brilliant game.

Really good, and is Hasbro's take on the mouth piece challenge that had 15 minutes of fame a year or so ago. That said it si fun. The set is good quality which is good when you are sticking these in your mouth. There are decks for kids and adults' questions and it is good fun of any evening.

This game to so much fun to play. Everytime we play it we all laugh and laugh and laugh. My sons love playing it and the children's mouthpieces fit really well.A great game for lightening the mood and amusement.

In our household kids love it ... grown-ups tolerate it due to the laughter it causes - top tip, do have a box of tissues handy as there is lots of dribbling... but it only cause everybody to laugh more.
