4 stars because it was exactly as I remembered it, bright colours, smooth pieces, pleasing shapes. Not 5 stars because the packaging is rubbish, although the red wooden tray is very nice, there is only film keeping the pieces in which means it is difficult to store after use without all the pieces falling out. Also not 5 stars because the same puzzle is depicted differently in 2 separate listings so that I had to order 2 not knowing which one was the one I wanted, so, sly marketing, annoying.

This is simply a beautiful and well made wooden mosaic puzzle. The coloured shapes can be fitted into the accompanying wooden frame in a variety of geometric patterns. Brightly coloured and with the nice feel of real wood (so much nicer than plastic) the grandchildren from 2 to nearly 9 absolutely love playing with it creating pictures and patterns and learning a lot about symmetry, shape and tessellation into the bargain.

I love this item, as other reviewers have said it takes you back to when I was a child. The wooden pieces are solid and lovely strong colours. I bought this for my 5year old granddaughter, it's a Christmas present so hasn't yet received it, but I know she'll love it there are so many pattern variations you can make. A nice item I would recommend it

I remember having one of these when I was a child and never tired of it so bought this for nostalgic reasons. My grandchildren have many sophisticated electronic toys but I left this around when they visited to judge their reactions. To my surprise they loved it and took it home with them!

This is a lovely puzzle toy. Grandchildren love it but I was most disappointed in the box it comes in. Could not even call it a box, it's a tray without a top so unless it's put away carefully every time, the contents fall out so pieces can easily be lost.

I purchased this because I remember my Nan having something similar when I was younger and I loved playing with it. And the amazing thing is, my children that are addicted to their Amazon Fire tablets, love playing with it too. A well-made product.

Was looking for wooden mosaics, like the ones I had 60 years ago.These are similar,even the colours.
