I wanted to get a flower press for my daughter and have been very pleased with this.I did a lot of research into these as I was very specific about what I wanted. I wanted a larger press. If you check the dimensions on a lot of the other flower presses on amazon you will see that they are often only 10 cm which is not very big at all. This is larger.Also it has the traditional "wing-nut" screws on it which I preferred as a lot of this other styles had decorative screws ( Wooden ladybirds/beads etc) which other reviewers had said snapped off etc so I wanted to avoid that.Also, I wanted to make sure there was enough blotting paper sections within it which there are!All in all I have been very

This flower press is good enough, but not exceptional. I bought it as a present and was quite disappointed that it didn't came in a proper box/package. It arrived unwrapped inside a simple cardboard box, with no picture or description at all, just a brown cardboard package. The press itself is tough enough and the little balls on top of the bit to screw down are good for little hands, but still 3 and 4 year old children need a bit of assistance to use this press.

This is just like the one I had as a girl. It’s nice and big, big enough for most blooms and it’s no big deal to add more layers I’d you need them. It a good use of all that Christmas packaging! I look forward to showing the little ones the fun to be had making cards and gifts with flowers you’ve grown and pressed yourself.

For the price you get what you pay for, presses the flowers, and did the job I needed it to.If you are pressing a lot, you make want more cardboard extras, as there aren't as many as I would like, for thin presses, there's a lot of space left on the nail, so potential to press even more.

This approx a small ruler (slightly bigger) squared. Its really good for pressing flowers and leaves and have done the job well. You will need to buy additional blotting paper though as it needs changing weekly really.Would recommend though

It is a nice medium size (18x18 cm.). Surely it bends a little when tightening, but there is no need to apply so much pressure to obtain good results. Some of my flowers came out with beautiful colours (depending on its type, freshness..).

Perfect and just how I remember as a child. My daughter and I pressed over 30 flowers from our garden this summer and 1 month later they were perfectly pressed and ready to frame. Lots of compliments on the finished pictures.

Good solid, well sized flower press. Not like some of the alternatives which are only 10cm square, this is 16cm so much better. The thumbscrews being metal will last (unlike the wooden ones) so generally impressed.

This was bought in conjunction with A Little Guide To Trees, and A Little Guide To Wild Flowers, for my goddaughter's. Something for them to use as a learning tool.

A practical flower press suitable for 5 years upwards. The bolts and nuts are a bit fiddly for a young child but they get use to them with practice.

Bought this for our 5 year old daughter so she could try out flower pressing and it works well, no problems.
