Simple Human bins are about as good as it gets in terms of bins. Thankfully, no one is yet trying to sell connected bins yet with a tablet and WiFi built in...They look stylish, the bags fit perfectly and without the ugly look of bin liners hanging out over the edges. The pedal open is great as it runs the full length of the front edge, so you never have that hit & miss with small pedals that other makers use.The stainless steel looks lovely too and as we already have two other larger bins that we bought three years ago, I can confidently say that they stay looking good. This bin was bought for food recycling as we’ve moved to a new home where they collect food waste every week.The only downside is that Simple Human don’t make food recycling bags,

I wanted this bin but my wife said no!!! She said it was too expensive but I bought it anyways! Spent a day on the couch but When it arrived, I got the good treatment! She loves it.This bin not only looks amazing, it’s very practical. It doesn’t leave any horrible marks, opens smoothly and the two compartments are brilliant. I use the recycle compartment for plastic/glass/tins and the other side for general waste. Easy to empty and clean.If you are in two minds, bite the bullet and buy! When I first saw this in a shop I thought how much, that's a ridiculous price 'for a bin'. So bought a cheaper sensor bin, that didn't last long, so bought a better quality sensor bin and that didn't last long either, so then bought a cheaper plastic one that I hated, so finally bit the bullet and bought this and now of course I kick myself that I didn't get this first.It looks good, and as per the name it's simple but the quality is fantastic and everything about it is well designedFull width foot pedal so it's easy to openSoft close lid.Inner lid holds the liner securely and hides the bag from outside.Smooth on the inside which means when you remove a full bag it slides out very easily.Bags

This is an expensive bin, but it is good quality and looks great (if a bin can look great ?). The little storage at the back of the bin for the box of liners is quite innovative, but I guess this is also to encourage you to buy their own liners rather than other makes, that said I think if you buy in bulk they are reasonably priced and would say they are much stronger than anything I have bought from a super market. It certainly wouldn’t look out of place in the nicest of kitchens. We bought this as we have just refurbished our kitchen and didn’t have space to integrate a bin in the units and due to this we wanted something that looked good and not out of place. This ticks all the boxes.

This bin is elegant and so practical. It is sturdy and has a very nice opening action. Fingerprints are non existent and where there have been some spills or drips, it cleans up perfectly. We have to use sacks for our recycled items and have more of this than the household waste bin, so we have the plastic bin for household, using the bags by Simplehuman and place a cherry sack in the other compartment for recycled waste. Having read reviews of this product, I note that other people say the bags, while being a bit more expensive than supermarket liners, are well worth the money and to be able to place the replenishment in the bin itself, reduces the need to store in a drawer.

It’s a bin. A pricey one. I got it cuz it was copper and I can store the bags in the bin (storage issues) but it’s bigger than I pictured it from the measurements so it’s more like a buddy in the kitchen ‘scuse me pal, comin’ past’ (storage issues). However, I was away on lockdown and forgot I’d left some food in the bin. Didn’t realise til I opened the thing to throw something else away and nearly threw up in it...So very good at containing stinky food items. Don’t do like me tho and nearly break it after putting the recycling box back in the wrong way round and trying to close the lid on it. It’s very sturdy tho so I did no damage despite being a heavy handed oaf

What can I say. Very classy waste bin...sounds ridiculous I know but its lovely. I'm almost frightened to use it, due to the price. I thought I would take the plunge after seeing this bin at a reduced price on Amazon. In the past I have paid £20.00 for cheaper metal bins and they dent very easily, so have ended up throwing them away after a year or so. The lid is soft close which is nice and when closed fits inside a small rim . Hopefully, this will stop my greedy whipped trying to climb into the bin after food! I bought the Rose Gold bin but there are different colours to choose from, the bronze one looks nice too. Hmmm, now where can I put another!

Managed to snag this item while there was an offer on. But honestly, despite the high price, I would gladly have paid it. The split design means that it is easy to keep all your plastics/tins separated from other rubbish. The finish on this makes wiping clean easy, and it doesn't stain at all. I also love how the bags have a holder at the back allowing easy access. It is a big bin with great looks and features. And Simplehuman are very responsive on twitter should you need them.

Stylish bin that seems very robust. Only real niggle is after 1 year it squeaks when it closes an i can't find where to put some WD40! It is super expensive for a bin, but I went for it on the hope it would last forever. Haven't been disappointed so far and will update this review if it breaks. The recycling bin is easy enough to remove and has to be put back the right way round, but you get used to it. Came with some specific bin bags but supermarket ones do the job obviously!

I was debating whether or not to spend this sort of money on a bin, however I am very pleased that I did. The quality is outstanding and the ability to store the bin bags at the rear of the bin is of great benefit. The soft close lid works very well and you can have the bin up against the wall without the lid smashing into it. I do recommend the bin bags as they fit perfectly, the bin came with 10 of them as standard which I didn't expect. Overall, I cannot fault the product.

I wouldn’t normally get excited about a bin but.... this one is fantastic and by far the best bin I have ever owned. Most importantly it is really easy to use. The wide pedal is great for opening the bin from different angles, the soft gentle close of lid is quite elegant and the bin liners are so easy to remove and replace - love the bin liner storage inside the bin. Had lots of compliments on the bin as it is very smart and elegant. Would highly recommend

The simplehuman recycler is a cleverly designed bin. It has 2 sections: a removable container for your recycling and a bin-bag lined section for your landfill rubbish. It also has a compartment to hold your bin bags, which is a nice touch. The bin looks good and is fingerprint-proof, so it stays clean. It is a little pricy compared to other bins but the extra features and 10-year guarantee make it worth spending that little bit extra.

Great bin.It seemed a bit expensive for a bin and we tried other but in the end I went back to the one I had liked in the first place.It is worth the bit extra as it's a fantastic bin.It opens and closes smoothly.The bags are just the perfect size and nice and strong.I'm very pleased with my bin.We named it Rosie after a song by AC/DC because Rosie was a whole lotta woman and our bin Rosie is a whole lotta bin.

I have to admit I did take a long time before I ordered this, as its a bin really at the end of the day and the price is a bit eye watering... lollBUT I LOVE IT.. I am sooo glad I bought it and I have no regrets, my friend has had hers for years and it still looks like new... So I know it just a bin.. but its not really its a MAGNIFICENT bin.. with a guarantee.. how great is that..Enjoy

I absolutely love this bin. It is so pretty. It had to fit in very tight space and also had to be a certain height. Can't believe I found one of the exact measurements. The bags it came with fit perfectly and the bin holds a lot of rubbish so don't need to empty every day. Soft close is an added bonus but I guess for the price it should be expected. Arrived promptly and was well packed.
