In terms of price/performance, I honestly think the drakonia might be one of the best mice on the market.First, the bad. I would love to give this mouse a five star rating, but its relatively cheap price means the build quality isn't the best. The rubber grips on the side don't quite fit properly, the weights are a little fiddly to place at first since the slots were slightly too small for them, and after several months one of the four dpi-indicators on the side failed. Now, the good. All those problems listed above are very minor, and have no real impact on the mouse's actual performance. The weights were fine once I forced them into their slots, the rubber grips are comfortable, and I quickly found my favourite dpi-setting and rarely change it, so the loss of a little light is no big deal. The mouse is incredibly smooth, a very comfortable size that fits my hand perfectly (perhaps a little small for people with large hands), the buttons are all responsive and long-lasting, and useful outside of games since they double as back, forward, and double-click buttons when browsing.I've been using the mouse heavily for well over a year, and it's still working just fine. When the big name brands are offering mice with similar functionality at two or three times the price of this one, the drakonia really puts them to shame. While some of its external components like the grips might feel a little cheap, the important parts: the sensor, the buttons, the shape, the weights all perform at the same level as the more expensive mice it's competing with. If you don't care about the mouse looking a little cheap, the drakonia is insanely good value.

This is a great mouse for the price you pay. The mouse is very sturdy and has quite a nice ergonomic feel to it. It comes with two additional buttons on the left hand side of the mouse at the top of the grip and one below it as well as another button on the right hand side of the mouse. The DPI is fairly impressive and should suffice for anybody who isn't an actual pro-gamer. I'm currently one of the best Dawn of War 2 players and are getting away with playing 2/4 on the DPI setting for this mouse. It has many neat features too such as a the mouse scroll wheel actually being able to be clicked to the left and clicked to the right, not just clicked down. The mouse also contains multiple weights which are easily removed and stored in a bag given to you so that you can get the optimal weight for your mouse.Aestheticaly the mouse looks really pretty with its turquoise drakonian scales. It also has a pretty flashing glowing logo on the front which you can actually adjust the colour of! The side grips of the mouse do tend to collect a lot of dirt/dead skin/food/whatever but that's to be expected.Overall the mouse is extremely good to value for money and I would suggest it to anybody who wants a great mouse for great gaming bar professional gamers as they might want a few more buttons to bind keys to and probably a higher DPI.

I felt I had lost my edge gaming online so decided to upgrade my basic mouse to the Sharkoon Drakonia. This is USB mouse and fits a larger hand which for me is better. The mouse has an adjustable weight system to adjust to your prefered movement. The DPI setting switch is easy to change whilst in game and the amount of buttons is a real plus. The software comes on a small dvd so this only fits in tray drives and not slot drives but I am sure this can be downloaded if required. The sofware lets you adjust loads of settings and also lets you set up 5 profiles for quick switch when you change games. For me this is a great improvement on my old mouse but I still suck at the games,my fault not the mouse.

For the type of gaming mouse the Drakonia is and how well it responds, the price is beyond reasonable. The weights in the bottom are a nice touch but the weight and glide of the mouse as it is are exceptional. I find the DPI buttons do not interfere with the mouse wheel or scroll. The macro buttons on the top left and right are all within an acceptable distance as to not interfere with your normal use but able to be quickly accessed for gaming needs.Slightly impressive would be an understatement. Order a second for the future in case this model gets replaced.

It is nice mouse for gamers, good opportunities to set buttons for individual games. Size is ok, shape is ok, buttons and scroll wheel are fantastic. Akso great DPI options. However it failed after 4 months and nothing helped to bring it back to normal condition. Failure was in pointer movement, started to be very poor reaction of pointer on actual mouse movements. Sometimes to get pointer from one part of screen to another, I had to move my mouse several times from one part mouse pad to another. That was big dissapointment. Otherwise is great cheap mouse.

This mouse is amazing, It comfortable, Its precise, Its reliable, It has many buttons and most important It looks cool! This I would recommend to anyone gamer or not, this mouse is insanely good for any task, you can set certain commands such as dbl click to any of the buttons and it makes games even better. It has DPI controls with 4 different settings just below the scroll wheel and also has alot of different settings you can change with the software provided5 stars - Awesome mouse for an affordable price - Bargain!!!

I have been using this mouse for years now. The first one i had for three years before the right click started to not respond sometimes, But i loved it so much when it came to replacing it i bought another. I have big hands and this mouse is so comfortable for me i have no problem gaming with it for long periods of time and for the price its a bargain in my opinion. My current one i have been using for about a year now and its showing no sign of wear.

My Sharkoon Drakonia lasted me almost 2 years before the right mouse button decided to intermittently work.. apart from that, It has been a great mouse and I'm very close to buying another to replace mine (just seeing whats on the market first) the only downfalls I have found with this mouse is one button is useless unless you have long fingers to reach it and the cable being textured sometimes catches on the edge of the desk. go on, give it a go!

Great mouse, but unfortunately not suitable for smaller hands. It started to give me aches in the left side of my forefinger which went away when I reverted to previous mouse. Would probably be excellent for those with average to large hands. The specs on this thing are really good and the quality is top.Really good value for money - assuming your hand is the right size!

As soon as I started using this mouse i fell in love.Stupidly comfortable in my hand and very nice tactile feel to the clicks and buttons.the lights aren't glaring but are just right, in addition it has a braided cable to keep it from snagging on anything 10/10for £9.99 this is a bargain probably wont find a better mouse for this price.

I was looking to buy a gaming mouse and i got told to get a razer mouse but i decided to look around for myself and i'm so happy i did now because i found this and wouldn't ever regret it. its such a high quality mouse for what you pay and i would recommended it to anyone who wants a high grade mouse for a budget price

27.4.2014

A good amount of buttons in comfortable places, adjustable weight, and high enough DPI (have to turn it down for some games, even with in-game sensitivity close to or at minimum).Mouse shape is great but a little on the larger side, so wouldn't recommend to anyone with particularly small hands.

12.8.2015

Excellent mouse for such a low price, the buttons are all easy to reach, the quality is excellent, the software is great. One thing to keep in mind is since the mouse uses a laser, there will be a small amount of unfixable acceleration, although this is really not noticeable.

Looks cool, was a good price and durable...had it for ages now writing this review and good as new. The cable is high quality roped and is unlikely to fault and the scroll wheel and buttons can withstand plenty. The configurable settings make the mouse fit any user too!

Superb mouse at a superb price..can't fault it. Great features for little money..highly recommended. Previously had a fra mor expensive wireless mouse and to be honest I'm glad I've gone back to a wire one. No worrying or having to recharge batteries constantly.
