This new style p/c 328/2272 looks a cheaper version of p/c 833/9962.They're identical bar the white plastic edge trim, whereas product code 833/9962 has colour matching trim around the edge.The product itself is very easy to set up, connect the W shape end of the supplied lead into the Hard Drive first before the USB shape end into the pc.You are then given a choice of Apple or Microsoft tab to download, once done, you're away.

I haven't used it that much yet, but so far, it's really good. Love the fact that I can use it in iMac without any problems and if needed, in a PC too without reformatig it. The things you can do in your mac are limited compared to what you can do in a PC, but I knew that from the beginning so it's ok. I'd recommend this hard drive for anyone who knows they'll be using their hard drive for both macs and PCs.

I'm using this Seagate drive as Time Machine (file back up) on my Mac laptop. Even though it's advertised as suitable for PC & Mac, it needed erasing and re-formatting before it would work on my Mac and I needed to talk to Apple support for help with this. The accompanying instructions didn't mention this issue at all, but now it's formatted it works well

did what I needed - backed up my data on my desk top computer. Set itself up automatically and instructions once the software had downloaded were straightforward to follow. A couple of leaflets in the box about additional products - one was out of date and another piece of software apparently for organising my photos were superfluous.

An extremely compact drive, large enough for comprehensive backups. It is plug and play although it comes with software to perform a variety of tasks. It is less than half the size and 4 times the volume of my existing external drive.

Since i have been using it , i have no problem with it, i store all my data in the device, i have not encountered any problem, i like everything about the drive, portable, gigantic, easy to use

I chose, paid for and collected my item quickly and easily from my local store. Once I got it home, it was easy to set up and worked quickly and efficiently. Just what I wanted.

I had this up and running in 4 mins, straight out of the box. I use it with my PS4 as external memory and also with my laptop. Well worth the money. Highly recommended

I used the Seagate hard drive to transfer files from an old Windows computer to a new MacBook. Was easy to use. Plenty of capacity for the future.

This hard drive will work on smart tv ok. And it is the one i want it for my laptop and smart tv baird 43inch smart tv with freeview ok.

Long overdue purchase. Nice and slim fits comfortably in the top pocket but looks a bit daft with the cable hanging out tho ;-)

Small and neat. Very easy to connect and use. Bags of space to back up old computers hard drive, just in case it fails.
