Got this for my son’s birthday cake. As I’d never used a large mould before I tried it out a couple of times before the event. I found it worked best without greasing inside but the best tip I found was to turn the cake out, thoroughly clean the mould, melt chocolate and pour into mould then put cake back in and put in fridge to set. The chocolate then retains all the detail. My son was in awe!

Great detail, cleans easily, cake comes out easily after you've greased the mould. I really liked the level of detail, especially with me choosing to bake a moist orange cake too (I assume that a less moist cake or a bread would give even more detail). Absolutely lovely!
