Bought this as a Birthday gift for my wife. Having Galaxy Note 4 phone, and 3 Samsung tablets, I knew she would take to the new Note 8 fairly easily. Phone has a nice feel to it, and is very light to handle. Transfer of Data and Apps. from old phone was very easy and straightforward with Samsung's Smart Switch. So, all the data and apps from old phone were transferred in one go. Had a problem with E-Mail set up, and the What's App was a complete nightmare, and still can't get it to work. This was dissappointing as there were some contacts that were only available for my wife on this app. E-mail was difficult because it would not allow the set up of Pop Server's - which BT - Yahoo use.

Long ago I bought a Note II which I replaced with a Note III when it broke and when my Note III was getting old I bought a OnePlus 6T, a truly beautiful phone, but just too different from my beloved Note for me to get on with so I gave it to a friend a bought a Note Eight instead.The Note Eight is wonderful, I LOVE IT, the pen input is even better than on the II and III and if it can understand my handwritten scrawl - good enough to be a doctor's - then it can certainly understand yours! The UI is different, but I'm getting used to it and the multi window feature is finally useful.My main annoyance is the absence of 'stickers' from the calendar app.

Brilliant phone for general use and also office work, art and photography. The battery also lasts quite a long time. Usually up to two days which is amazing for 3500mAh. The screen quality is incredible. The Camera takes some absolutely great photographs with very high resolution. There are also all kinds of other things this phone does including counting your steps/calories etc for health and has 'Bixby' which is very similar to Alexa and Cortana. There are also many ways you can lock your phone including eye retina recognition, face recognition, finger print and voice recognition. You name it, this phone does it, apart from the washing and ironing unfortunately :-DThe only downside to this phone for some people is it is quite large,

Another quality idea from Samsung lacking in technology. If they don't sort their act out they risk losing the market to Huawei which offers better everything but not in a single device. The Honor 8X Max has 5000mAh battery which outlast any other smartphone on earth on a single charge. The Honor range offers fastest security access that appears instant while Samsung and Apple devices lag behind by seconds. The 12Mp cameras are outdated compared to the standard Honor 8X 16Mp camera.The brand cost of Samsung is making me reconsider it for my next purchase. At 20% of the cost are some awesomely capable devices that exceed the flagship marketing from both Samsung and Apple.

I bought the Note 8 because I forgot how much I missed the S-pen and the instant note taking abilities of my old Note 4. It is a slick piece of kit but it has some software oddities that took a while to sort out. It warns you about moisture in the charging port from time to time, even though it has none. That took a bit of searching online to find a solution and it is still happening occasionally. As with everything electrical , if you turn it off and on again, it sort itself out. The other oddity is that the speaker is very . quiet on the phone. I have had to download an App to improve it. I'm amazes that Samsung let it go to production like that. Having said that, I will put up with these .

Signal reception in my poor signal area is better than any phone I have had.Size wise it is not huge but compact is not the word I would use for it.Wireless battery charging is a bonus.It suffers from the same problem my expensive Tab does :- despite being set to auto rotate many apps , and anoyingly Samsung apps, simply will not work in landscape mode.Samsung will claim it is not their fault.With regard to the cameras I cannot comment, I bought as a phone, if I wanted a camera I would have bought a camera.As a refurbished phone it is excelent value. I would be miffed if I payed full price for it.

I had previously tried a few phones after leaving the Windows phone platform but none compared to the note 8. Coupled with the overall excellence of this phone, Microsoft have made big leaps tying in android to their existing platform, Microsoft launcher is really good and the rest of their apps make me feel at home. Highly recommended to all those ex WP people who unfortunately have nowhere to go on that particular road.

Really impressed with the service & phone - not one scratch on it! Thought it was time to finally upgrade from my (sh#t) iPhone - I don't think I could have found a better replacement than this! The battery life lasts days; the camera is insanely good & the screen resolution is simply beautiful. I can't believe I got it for such a good price ?Thank you so much! ?

Easy to use, good clear sound both phone and music, brilliant camara, excallent value. My only complaint would be battery life, however if you cancel the apps running in the background and allow battery saver, this does help. The standard of build quality and capabilities of this device is typical of Samsung. would recommend to anyone

Phone is the best I've ever held. I've had iPhones since day 1 but the Note 8 has changed my life and made it simpler. iPhones are simple and good... but if you want a phone that can do anything... Note 8 is the way to go... it's like a computer! The camera is excellent. Options to add larger Micro SD! Phone is just WoW

I love this phone, reached me on time. It meets all my needs of phone, social media, games and battery life. The extras I received like phone cases and power charger case are amazing, I've never seen them before. This is the best Christmas present to myself. Thank you for selling this phone to me. Vicky ??

Today the parcel arrived with the phones honestly at first I was scared because the envelope with the phones was in the mailbox. But everything seems to be fine. There are scratches as described in the description, but with a cover they are not visible. battery average. In general, the purchase paid off

Who in their right mind thinks any phone is worth this sort of money? But if you want it you have to pay it. This is not my first note and it won't be my last. Battery life is good for this size phone and all that it runs.

This is possibly the best phone I've ever owned, long battery life, large screen, easy to use, Iove it! Beats any iPhone I've ever had, and I've had quite a few of those in my time. Samsung is definitely the way forward!!
