This replaced an HTC Desire from a few years ago - it was cutting edge then but, getting the Alpha, shows how much the cutting edge has moved. The Alpha's screen is good and it navigates fine. It has fixed memory, 32Gb, without memory card slot though, in the innards there appears to be an outline of where the memory card slot could be. However, with 32 Gb and Cloud, I have enough capacity. The battery lasts couple of days, three if phone not in much use and in strong signal (both phone and WiFi) area. The call quality is good. I'm glad I bought this phone and negotiated the price of SIM only contract.

Concidering the item was a second hand phone set I was slightly weary of what condition I would receive the item. It was described as having 'light' signs of use. ... it had exactly that, excellent condition, value for money, any sign of wear and tear was only noticeable under scrutiny of the item. I bought this phone as a replacement of my last phone which I sadly broke. Loving the product and it's features I decided to invest in this phone again. Im not a technical wiz so find this phone easy to use, good camera. Looks great. Bargin

The metal case and form factor is absolutely stunning and looks are unique in the crowd. Specs are good for a powerful mobile device may be not as good as S5 but on par with Iphone 6. The best thing I like about Samsung devices is the presence of three buttons on the front screen as on other android devices they appear on the screen and reduces useable screen area (that's why I didn't bought LG G3 which currently is the best phone on the market in all aspects). But the price for Alpha is a bit high, it should be in the range of £400.

Arrived on Time. Even though the condition was classed as refurbished but was like new.Very happy with the phone in general. Even though it is a 2 year old model it looks very modern and sleek and excellent hardware.I small complaint is that even though I am in Europe I got a UK adapter and it is not a Samsung model fast charger so a bit disappointed about that.

I have been using this smartphone for the last 2 weeks. Great phone, fast and performing really smoothly, no lag. Very light nad think. It still has android Kit kat 4.4.4. The battery lasts 2.5 days of moderate use- email, browsing Web, online shopping, SMS, Skype and calls etc. The bargain price made my decision easy to take about the purchase.

Great phone overall! Has got the Android Lollipop update recently. It is fast, light, slim and good looking. Battery is not great but enough for one day for average usage. My only problem is the vibration, it is very weak that I don't usually notice it. I would buy it again if I were to choose.

This phone is amazing, the battery and the performance. For £270 this is amazing. The software update 4.4.4 kit Kat on this phone makes it stand out better. This is the first Samsung phone which has a metal frame and I think Samsung has done this very well. Out 5 I would it 5!!!!

Like new, as described. USB lead, charger, instructions and ear buds all wrapped as new. Cover supplied as well. Screen protector fitted. This is an ex Three.co.UK phone, factory reset. Works with my O2 sim. Shows three.co.UK logo on start-up.

Just recieved it...only bad thing about this was that the wait was too long but overall i love the phone in perfect condition, got then newest update yesterday, has really cool features etc. I would recommend it

Really happy with the quality of the phone, looks and feels much better than any other Samsung phones that I've had, faster processor, easy and practical to use. Overall I'm satisfied with the phone.

Absolutely spotless phone apart from a few tiny marks at the top which are barely noticeble. Looked as good as new after a a good clean. Thanks for a great service and delivery

very good smart phone, but you might need spare battery if you're going to use it for longer period as the battery does not last long .Pictures and videos are very clear.

Sleek quick and fully loaded. Excellent premium feel also. Camera is fantastic and the 4k video is so clear. A nice break away from the plastic feel on phones.

Really good phone, amazing OLED screen, despite it not being full HD. Moreover, due to its eight core processor, it runs very smoothly as well.
