I bought this kit so I could practice on something before I tackled a more expensive kit. This came with a brush, a board, a set of instructions and the paint. I did start using the paints provided but realised that they were very thin and didn't cover the numbers at all or give a nice finish to the picture, but I was expecting that, especially given the price. If your wanting to just practice your painting skills, or want to give this to the kids to keep them busy for a while, then this is perfect. It is a beginners quality kit, and I found it better to substitute some of my own acrylic paints so I could have more colour on the picture. You can mix colours together from those provided but they still are very thin and the colours not very vibrant.
