I remember wearing this in the early nineties and how I used to feel so sophisticated while wearing it. My father used to think I smelt ridiculous and far too feminine, but then how else was a boy supposed to get the attention of someone so very closed-minded?This is extremely good value and the scent really does last for several hours. This perfume, along with 'Exclamation', was the absolute height of 'class' in my peer group twenty years ago (amongst the girls anyway. And me, obviously) and if you did not know just how cheap the price of it was these days you could definitely mistake it for something a lot more expensive.I have in fact fallen on my sword with regard to this fragrance,

As the title says, I'm blown away by the strength of the smell of this perfume! Of course it has a lovely smell and it WILL linger on your skin for literally hours without fading, so you won't need to spray on more when you're out and about. I bought the 100ml bottle and will last me ages! You don't need to spend loads of money on more expensive perfumes for a lovely scent - this perfume proves that and it only cost £4.99 :)Last but not least, I ordered yesterday, arrived by courier at lunchtime today (which was a surprise, I was expecting the postie to deliver it) so delighted with the speedy delivery and top marks to the seller ^_^

Bought this out of sentiment, I used to buy Charlie when I was very young and very flat broke,and it was cheap, and the latest 'big thing'. This is a great scent, dry without being powdery, has a bit of an edge, not too flowery and very pleasant. I'm not a 'nose' as you can tell, I've no idea if it's citrusy or woody or has a hint of wild blueberry muffin liquorice orchid, which I wouldn't recognise if I stepped on one, or what, but is a real grown up, adult perfume with attitude, lasts a few hours, enough to get you through an evening or until lunchtime, and at this price, you can just spray yourself again if it has faded.

Charlie is a cheap perfume, but boy oh boy, it certainly doesn't smell like it! It comes in a big 100ml bottle. The bottle is not special, and does not match the amazing smell of the perfume. The smell is quite musky, but not to overpowering. I wear this as an every day perfume, it lasts all day and I have got a lot of compliments. When people ask what perfume I wear they are surprised, because it smells so high end. It's great. It's now become my signature smell and I'm now opting for this over my usual expensive perfume that costs £30 for 30ml!

The smell is very... vintage. It is potent and can be a little cloying so one spray is plenty. Any more and you'll be gassing passers by with your borderline-cool, borderline-old lady smell.I'm not going to lie, I bought this product because it was cheap perfume, and what young art student doesn't need cheap perfume? It doesn't smell chemical-y or like it cost £4, it's so cheap I'm happy to wear it every day, and if you like musky, floral, slightly dated scents then this may just be your perfect fragrance.

I will freely admit I bought this because of the price.However, I have and do own some really expensive perfumes for special times.It does annoy me a little that every single time I wear this, someone comments on how lovely I smell!I rarely get comments like that with the scents that are at least 6x the price!So, if you want something that will get you noticed and that you will get positive comments about, this is the scent for you!It really is amazing how often I am complimented on it.

Its got a distinct smell, which smells more expensive than it really is! And it lasts!The fact that its available for so cheap just makes it that much better, so I can spray as much as I like without worrying about the cost. My friend bought it for me as a present and I adored it so much that I just ordered another one, and will definitely be ordering more in the future.By the way the smell is so good I think it'll suit all ages! I'm 20, and I love it, and my mum loves it too :)

Just brought this as a present among many for my friend at Christmas. I have had good feedback and i new before hand that they liked this particular brand, and for somebody trying to break the bank over the Christmas period this is a good solution because every women i have met has always liked Charlie and can use it as a day to day solution due to the price and quality. Highly Recommended, and you won't find it cheaper anywhere else.

I remember getting my first bottle of Charlie Red as a present when I was 13 and I've loved it ever since. Smells amazing and the bottle while simple is also elegant. My only complaint is while it smells amazing... it's so hard to match it to other scents. It is very distinct and quite potent, but I am yet to find a shower gel or suchlike from this range. Apart from that, love it and would highly recommend!

Bought this for myself and love the smell.Its seems to have been around forever. I tend to wear this for every day use which is great as the smell does stay with you thhroughout the day. I will wear my super favourite if i go out though elizabeth arden, red door. Charlie is a great everyday perfume for a great price, must say i think the red is the best out of the different range of charlie perfumes.

Really beautiful floral fragrance, and just as other reviewers have said, the smell lasts a long time; without changing. I am so pleased with this product as I went looking on the high street for designer perfumes in the Christmas/January sale, and couldn't find anything I liked. This is really good value for money, as it is just a fifth of what I was prepared to pay for a designer brand.

Ironically as a teen I used to hate this scent, so for the past 10+ years I avoided it. Clearly my sense of smell has changed because my Mum bought some and it smells wonderful. Great notes of tuberose, just a very clean scent. Bought this because the standard body sprays don’t really last. Great size for the price, will definitely buy again.

Great buy for the price. But because of this, I'm not sure if it is genuine? The bottle looks the same and the box, although I can't remember what my other one was like. But I feel that this one doesn't smell as strong as the one I'm replacing. Still, for under £3 it's really good for daytime use.

This perfume is brilliant value for money. One squirt and away you go - no need to reapply during the day. Timeless perfume. my grandmother used to wear it all the time and she always smelled gorgeous. It comes in a large bottle which will last me ages. Will definitely be buying this again.
