Like most adult Paddington fans, I've grown up wanting my own life sized Paddington, particularly one that resembles a very special bear that lived at the foot of the stairs in the home of a great-aunt whom I lost in childhood. He does not disappoint.Standing, unaided, around 40 cm high (so, a little shorter than the much beloved childhood paddington) he looks lovely in his red hat and blue duffle coat (made of a stiffer felt type fabric), but being a stiff bear, as he does not need any support to stand up, I would not give him to children to play with as he is more for the adult collector rather than for playing with.If you want a bear to look after, then this is the paddington for you,

After reading the books, I decided to purchase Paddington.He is a very lovely bear who stands up without the need for any support and looks very smart. The clothes look like the illustrations in the books, but are made of felt. The wellington boots are very good and the P.B on the soles is a nice touch. The only downside with this Paddington is the fact that his coat, hat and wellingtons do not come off, but that is not a problem if you accept he is not a bear to play dressing up with.Another review said the fluff came off easily but that hasn't been a problem with my Paddington. I imagine that only a hard tug on my bear's fur would pull any fluff out.

Not 'cuddly', and not particularly soft - but I knew that from the reviews I read on the site before buying it. Once Paddington has his boots on, he stands well on his feet. All the clothes come off easily, once you have cut through a few big stitches that hold the clothes in place as supplied. So it's probably not really for a young baby, but for an older toddler. The coat is a little tight, so young fingers might have difficulty doing up and undoing the buttons. The real thing looks every bit as charming as the photo on the site. A nice, high quality sturdy toy for older toddlers - or maybe as an ornament.

I cannot thank Toys And Learning for helping me find an authentic Paddington Bear. I bought this for my mum who is poorly for Mother's Day. To say it was the perfect gift was an understatement. Toys & Learning deelivered the item within a couple of days of orderning and it was well wrapped and with a lovely compliments slip. You will never know how much it made my mum's day when I gave it to her. It was exactly what she's been looking for for such a long time. You have helped me cheer up my mum when she has been feeling so low and down for so long. Thank You!!!

I recently purchased this Paddington Bear as a special gift for a little girl who had recently been adopted. It was a huge hit and she loved it (aged 2 years - she will be well supervised with him!) I have a Gabrielle Designs Paddington purchased for me in the 1970's and this is a very good copy. The felt coat and hat, however, are not as good quality felt as my very old bear and the boots are not Dunlop wellies, but he is gorgeous and a good size. I feel this PB is very good value and yes I would buy again and yes I do recommend!

Since I was 10 years old I have wanted a Paddington bear and now I own the best example of this bear I have seen. Everything about him is just perfect. I did my research and seen the other bears at various prices, this one is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and if you want one that your kids can play with get one of the others, this is more a collectors piece or for older children and us adults who still haven't grown up. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Paddington. Great delivery service and quick arrival too.

I bought this for my baby daughter to grow into as I remember seeing them around a lot when I was a kid and really wanted one but never had one, ok so you can't take the clothes off, but is that really a bad thing?, before you know it one boot goes missing or the hat won't keep it's shape. This is debatable really, if when she gets older and decides she wants to undress him I'm sure I can pick the stitching.I really like this highly desirable bear and give it five stars, it's well made and worth every penny.

This is a nice size Paddington bear! The material is a bit more "stiff" than I expected but I guess for a tall bear like this to stand up steadily, it has to be a bit stiff rather than soft and cuddly. If I want to be very picky, I would rather the clothes material to be softer. The duffle coat and the hat are in very nice colour, however, the material is a bit hard to the touch. I think it will be much nicer if it's softer.Still a handsome looking Paddington bear too look at!

This was a great purchase, a really lovely Paddington bought as a Birthday gift for an Adult who collects Bears. I would recommend Rainbow and will use them again for toys. Shopping this way also saved me money and time as I would have had to take a forty mile round trip to be able to purchase the same type of PB and of course the shop price was around £10 more.

I bought Paddington for my baby Grand daughter ,as part of her Christening present, Her Mummy & my other daughter got Paddington,s for Christening presents over 30 yrs. ago & have still got them & love them ...The 1 I ordered is just as nice as the original 1,s my daughters got all those yrs. ago & I am sure will be loved as much...

I always wanted an authentic Paddington I bought this chap nearly 10 yrs ago off Amazon. He is as dapper and immaculate today as the day he arrived. He is more of a collectors bear than a toy. For younger children I would buy an softer and probably cheaper version. For big children he is the beloved Paddington of our youth!

This was a present for our six year old Grand daughter. She loves him and cares for him so much. Far superior to the smaller, cheaper versions. Not for cuddling as is not soft but this is the real Paddington bear and needs carrying carefully. I have a forty year old Paddington and this is very similar.

I've always wanted to buy a Paddington Bear but I'm not a child anymore... This year I finally got one. It's beautiful and so sweet. Good quality and worth its price. I suggest it's better for adults than children, it's not a toy, but the member of the family:-)) We all love it!

Absolutely love this little guy! He is not a toy for a young child as he is solid and arms and legs don’t move, his face is so cute and the clothes & boots are fab! It was ordered for delivery to Ireland on a Monday and arrived on Thursday via UPS. Love him ❣️

This bear is much bigger that expected! He is absolutely lovely and a gift for my Paddington obsessed 9 year old. The only niggle I have is that he is quite stiff/firm so not really cuddly or plushly - but I'm sure my son will 'wear him down' with love!
