The Playmobil Water Park with Slides is part of the Summer Fun range. I was surprised how large it is, measuring 55 cm x 42 cm and 40 cm high when fully assembled. The Water Park comes unassembled in multiple bags inside the box and there is quite a lot of assembly needed to fully erect the Water Park. This is not difficult but does take quite a bit of time; care is needed to understand and follow the instructions, which are all in diagrams with no words. Once fully assembled the Water Park can be broken down again into the key elements of the main tower unit and two slides so that it can be put away inside its original box for storage. This means much quicker reassembly for subsequent play sessions and the Water Park is more compact to store when not in use.Inside the box there are five bags (containing all the assembly parts and features such as the rotating octopus and yellow dinghy), also the main parts of the palm tree, the slide platforms, the smaller one of which is inside one of the bags, the two waterslides and the base pool. There is also a 16 page, A4 booklet of assembly instructions, a small brochure of other Playmobil products and a sheet of three stickers for decoration in the Water Park. Finally there are the figures which include one man, one woman and one child, all of whom are in their swimming costumes.Everything clicks together very nicely. All items are beautifully made and finished. There is one bright yellow item that is the assembly tool, used to push the connectors into the base and supports. It can also be used to remove the connectors if they have been put in incorrectly. Initial assembly of the Water Park is quite a complex task and will most likely need an adult to help identify the parts and understand the instructions. This is a game in itself. If you like doing IKEA furniture you'll love this part.If you own the Summer Fun Water Park Play Area, which is a separate purchase, the slide from the Play Area can be clipped on to the pool of the Water Park.Everything within the play park is accessible and usable by the play people within their fantasy world. I do like how the slides work and that the figures will slide down them under their own steam. I like that there are ladders for the figures to climb up to reach all the slides and I like it that the dinghy has its own hook and pulley to pull it up to the top of the tower for the main water slide.I found that the Water Park fits inside my standard bath so you can play with the unit with water inside the house if you wish. There is a lot of play value and fun to be had with this Water Park whether played with water or without. This is a lovely Water Park construction, ideal for playing outdoors and having summer fun. The colours of the components capture the bright, fun look of a water park without being garish or harsh. Bring on the summer!

This was purchased as a last minute Christmas present for my 6 and nearly 4 year olds. It took about 40 minutes to put together (rather fiddly), so I would suggest building it before you give to your children if they can be a little impatient at times. The product is water tight and therefore water can be used (the children love this!).The main feature is the rubber ring slide, the figures can sit on the rubber ring boat perfectly, and a huge added bonus that they do not fall off when they go down the slide. The boat lands the correct way up in the water at the bottom which for me was a big positive. The product actually works which is lovely for the children (all to often they see items on tv and the reality is nothing like the advert). It comes with 3 figures which is perfect for playing. There is a pulley system to pull the boat to the top of the slide, again this actually works and my 6 year old is especially thrilled with this feature. The whole product is designed well. It is fairly stable for a nearly 4 year old to play with. My 2 year old did manage to pull quite a large part of it apart (he does have a habit of wrecking things), so I would definitely recommend for over 3s.Interestingly playmobil often comes with hundreds of tiny pieces which my children seem to love to lose! This product literally only has the people, a boat and a rubber ring other than the main structure which I must say I'm quite relieved about. Not many negatives... perhaps an extra boat would be useful (to stop sibling squabbles), or the second slide being wide enough so the boat can be used on both. But these really are minor negatives.Overall a lovely product. Review from my 6 year old.... "it's great"Review from my 4 year old "i love the water spinner, even the whole thing".... translated as ..."I love it".(We connected it to the playmobil water playground for added play value, but this review is just for the slides waterpark).

This is a Playmobil Summer Fun Water Park with Slides. Like all Playmobil sets, it is quite time consuming to put together. With some toys, this can be part of the enjoyment, but Playmobil is so fiddly that really you do need an adult to set this up. It is fairly large and takes a while to put together, but is worth the effort as this is a really fun toy with loads of scope for imaginative play. You can combine it with the Summer Fun Water Park Play Area for extra fun – which clips onto the side of the pool – but both sets are also self contained and work well either on their own or together. The set has three figures – a man/older boy, a woman/older girl and a little girl (good to see a mix,as the Water Park Play Area had two boys). You have a central pool, which you can fill with water (and should do, as it’s much more fun) and that has an octopus which you can twirl to make waves. There is a central power, reachable by ladder or net and there is also a winch to pull up the little dingy that figures can use to race down the two slides. A palm tree and other accessories add to the fun. I liked the sign, telling children how to use the slide correctly. This is well designed, so more than one child can play at once.Like all Playmobil toys the quality is excellent, but there are lots of small pieces which are choking hazards for younger children. This though was a real hit with my nine year old daughter, plus my younger niece and nephew, who all enjoyed playing with it. They love water parks and so this was a real hit and has lots of imaginative play potential.

This is a large Summer Water Fun Playmobil set, and we've had lots of fun with it, despite it only arriving yesterday! As with all Playmobil sets it's incredibly detailed and well thought out. The initial assembly did take nearly 30 minutes, so be prepared if you have excited children waiting for the assembly to happen! I do find that Playmobil often requires an adult to assist in assembly, but unlike Lego the fun is in the playing with the finished product rather than the building. Some of the instructions can be a little unclear, but once you start fixing things in place it becomes rather obvious.Once built, the fun really begins. There is a whirlpool created by spinning the red octopus in the main pool,a scrambling net leads the three supplied figures (a man, woman and girl) to the first level of the water park - they can then decide whether to go down the yellow curved slide (complete with a clever pink sea monster stop / go indicator and a no armbands warning sign) or go up the ladder to the boat slide. At the very top you can put the Playmobil figure into a yellow boat which then whizzes down the huge white slide, does a 180 degree turn and then lands in the pool. A clever rope pully system then attaches to the back of the boat and it can be pulled up to the top of the water park for the next turn. The fun can be extended by adding the set 6670. We have done this and it really does make an impressive set.

Absolutely brilliant. Both my seven and five-year-old children love Playmobil and have pretty sizeable collections, but they've been asking for one of the ones with water features for AGES and this one definitely doesn't disappoint. It comes in a huge box, so is the sort of thing you might want to give as a main Christmas or birthday present, because it feels like something really substantial. And the contents of the box are great!Like all Playmobil it takes a little assembly, but that's standard - unlike Lego or other toys at a similar scale, the kids are unlikely to completely demolish this after it's been assembled, so you don't need to worry after putting it together. This water park is superb for kids, really great, capturing the imagination of summer holidays and swimming lessons. My favourite feature is the little octopus that switches (manually!) from green to red depending on whether the slide is safe for the next child to use it. It's all designed to be filled with water, with another spinny octopus designed to spin the water and make small waves/currents. The slides are ace and loads of fun, as is the rope to raise the dinghy from the water to the top, to go down the slide again. The characters themselves have a mix of skin colours, two adults and a child, which is always welcome, AND it can combine with a separate set to make an even bigger water park. I can't fault it, the kids love it.

I had playmobil when I was a child and absolutely adored it. But the sets now days are so much more intricate and engaging which bodes well for this brilliant playset.I personally love the little real world details such as the pool signs and the life ring and it kept me entertained looking at these little touches that they've carefully put in.Assembly isn't too complex but for younger children desperate to play with it the set up time is a bit of an annoyance particularly when it needs an adult to do some of the parts which are a bit fiddly to put together. However once together the park is immense fun, containing the Play People, a man/boy,woman/girl and of course the slide tower and central pool. The park is great fun used dry and the figures slide pretty well without water but the best fun is to be had with water present, especially as the octopus in the middle of the pool turns to create waves and currents. All in all this is a very exciting well thought out set that has hours of fun for the kids and is one of those toys that can be shared relatively easily without the usual fights and squabbles.

Playmobil sets are always well constructed, and this one is no exception. It has 143 pieces, so it's not a set you're going to just hand over to a young child to put together, and will need an adult to make sure it's properly fitted together. It's easy enough to do and doesn't take too long, and then you're off! The set features a tower with two upper levels, each one leading to a slide - one slide twists direction halfway down, which kids will love sending the figures down!. Both slides head towards a central pool which has a spinning octopus which will make wee waves. There's also a dinghy that the three included figures can use with the slide, and a cute winch to pull the dinghy back up to the top of the slide.A nice added feature is the safety signs on the structure, telling children how to use the slides properly, which is just a nice wee reinforcement thing for real life behaviour at the pool. This is a set which will keep its play value for a long time - it's for ages 4-10yrs, and you could certainly see kids pulling it out of the cupboard each summer to enjoy playing with again and again.

For some reason Playmobil has always come across as the poor relation to Lego, certainly outside of mainland Europe. Quite why this should be is beyond me. Playmobil, unlike Lego, is designed to be played with. The figures are a perfect size for little hands, the accessories are realistic enough for imaginative play, the construction is solid and feels sturdy and well made, and, best of all, from the point of view as a parent, they are designed for children. Not boys, not girls, just children. We have three and there are very few times I have seen them play together so intently and nicely as when they have their Playmobil out.The Playmobil 6669 Summer Water Slides play set offers terrific wet or dry play for budding Water Park tycoons, coming equipped with slides, a large pool with spinning octopus, rubber ring, three figures and plants. A great little set by itself, and would be perfect in a shallow paddling pool or out on the patio in the garden in the summer. The set is even more fun when paired with

Yet another fantastic Playmobil toy that will give lasting enjoyment. It ticks all the boxes of imaginative play and downright attractiveness for young kids. My nieces aged 6 and 7 loved this set, but my ten year old son was less keen. This set was larger than I was expecting but that was OK. What WAS expected was the time the time these things take to put together. I quite like doing this kind of thing though, so I was happy listening to music whilst putting the set together. As this is a Summer Fun Water Park its best to add water to your summer fun to get the most from the set, so put it down somewhere where splashes won't ruin anything. The only disappointment (and this is not the first time I've noted this)is the lack of figures in the set. You only get three. Playmobil put so much effort into their sets and the prices are tantamount to that effort that I'm surprised they seem to skimp on the amount of figures they include.

Bought this for our 3yo birthday and she really enjoys playing with it. The pool is watertight so can be filled with a moderate amount of water to enhance the playing experience - although it obviously tends to splash over the edge. Usual Playmobil build quality, i.e. excellent as you'd expect, but did require some adult supervision to put all the bits in this set together, again which is usual for Playmobil. She was also bought the "Playmobil 6670 Summer Fun Water Park Play Area" which has a slide which can be connected to the side of the pool on this set to make a super sized splash set.

This set can be combined with another water play set which I have reviewed separately and is slightly easier to assemble than the other. My kids love the slides on this one and the two part slide which looks as though it shouldn't work is actually really good. The pool at the bottom can be turned into a 'whirlpool' by twisting the octopus and there's certainly plenty of water-based splashy fun to be had. We've used the set indoors, outdoors and even managed to plonk it in the bath for a boisterous water session and its received a big thumbs up from the kids. It comes with three figures.

This is awesome! Like all Playmobil, it needs some basic construction by an adult to begin with, but after that it is independent, small world imaginary play at its best. This super summer fun set includes slides, a paddling pools, and other accessories. It's so much fun to add a little water, and see the imagination run wild.My two played with this in the bathroom, but you could easily pop down some towels to soak any spillages. Alternatively, use without water - but it's not as much fun!A great value set. Brilliant.

4.5.2016

This is a useful play set for boys or girls, I would not let under-4year olds have it as some parts are quite small. An adult or older child is needed to assemble the set, and although having fairly sturdy sections, it needs treating with care once put together. The colours are bright and cheerful and some playmobil characters are included. Its best for outdoors unless you have a 'messy' area as its no fun without water in the water slides and so the floor will get wet.

29.5.2016

Great fun and definitely one of the best Playmobil sets we've had. The slides and water make it really enjoyable. The octopus in the centre of the pool can be twirled around to create waves and as noted elsewhere - the attention to detail is top-notch which you can always rely on with Playmobil.Took just over half an hour to set up but we weren't racing. Instructions perfectly clear so no issues there. No negative points, it's great!

25.5.2016

The summer fun range has been a genius series of toys-they are perfectly suited to both Boys and girls and have the added dimension of mess and water combined. They are good fun on kitchen floor or outside on the grass whatever the weather but keep the children occupied for hours in every play scenario-other Summer fun sets add easily to it to form a water park setting. long play value.
