This castle is stunning and was my little girls dream, she plays with it everyday but it is pricey.I was originally in two minds as to whether to purchase this item due to its cost and the fact that it comes with no accessories and is totally unfurnished. However when it was reduced just before Christmas I decided to make it my daughters main present and members of the family offered to buy some of the furniture too.It arrived promptly and was really well packaged. The large box contained lots of small boxes and bags but the instructions were easy to follow and everything was well labelled. It took me over 4 hours to put this together and the finished castle looked stunning.

This is such an amazing product - we bought it for my 6yr old daughter for her birthday and she loves it and plays with it every single day. A word of warning though you have to assemble literally every single piece of this and it took my husband over 2 hours so leave yourself plenty of time and don't give it to your child unassembled as the disappointment they would feel in having to wait for it to be put together would be awful. You also need to plan where you will keep this as it's large and quite an awkward shape to accommodate. It resides on our dining table and has to be moved if we need to use all the table! It is such good quality and the detail is amazing.

Before purchasing this castle I had carried out intensive research in which one I should buy. This was by far the most beautiful and detail castle that I had found. Fit for any princess show needs a castle. Brought this for my daughters (3.5 years) Christmas present, we didn't have time before hand to make so we started to assemble this on Boxing Day and took is 5 hours and my daughter wanted to play with it even if it was partly build. the detail on this castle is amazing and it is really beautiful. You do need to purchase all the accessories to make the castle. My daughter loves it however this tend to fall off like the flowers and need to take care.

Where to start?! It took a good 4 hours to assemble (on Christmas Day - so eggnog and other presents must be taken into consideration), but was more than worth it. It's huge, has lots of rooms, turrets, gates, winding staircase, balcony, chandeliers, flags, a tower, a ballroom, windows that open and more....It seems to appeal to most children (girls and boys) as it's a blank canvas that they can use for most of their playmobil (or similarly sized) toys. My 3 year old son plays with it with my 6 year daughter (whose present it was) and there are regular Imaginext dragon attacks in amongst the fairy weddings etc. It's an attractive toy that will last well, and if it's anything like the playmobil I had as a child,

My eldest who is 4 had seen the castle on an advert and said she really hoped she could have this for Xmas. In town we then saw it in shop window and she couldn't speak with excitement!!! She opened it on Xmas day as a "joint" gift with her 3 year old sister and loved it. She played with it every day for next week, the Pegasus horse was a real hit! Well worth the money even tho it's so pricey but with all the accessories ( purchased by other family members) it really is a superb set which will last any princess fan a lot of years. This was our first playmobil product which we are so impressed with as it's unbreakable!

Firstly let me say, this is a truly fantastic toy of the highest quality that will be one of the best toys you will ever purchase. My daughter loves it and there are so many sets to choose from. It is a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. BUT... Take this as a warning, it takes f***ing ages to erect. I spent three solid hours on xmas day building it and still had bits to finish on Boxing Day. Just a warning for all of those dads who like a post dinner snooze, forget it, you will be clicking and popping plastic all afternoon if you buy this. Once complete, you will feel more like you have won a battle than built a toy. That being said, it's awesome.

My 6 year old daughter loved getting this for Christmas and still loves it. Only thing is, it took 3 of us about 3 or 4 hours to put it together. It seemed like like a lot longer tho. The turrets don't stay on which is annoying and the staircase comes apart easily. Overall, very good. I've always loved Playmobile and my kids do to. We have lots of little containers for all the little bits to be kept in for each set they get. They also love the advent calendars at Christmas, again, we put all the bits into a container to keep them safe.

The Playmobil Princess Fantasy Castle comes in a big box and has lots of bags full of pieces of various sizes. Be warned that this does take quite a long time to put together in order to assemble the Castle. However, once it's done, it is a lovely toy. My two daughters (ages 6 and 5) play for hours with it and create a wealth of stories about it and its inhabitants. Substantial in size once built, so not too easy to hide away at the end of the day, but it looks so lovely that it is nice to keep out.

It's a Xmas present so my 4 year old has not seen it yet and there's 6 weeks to go so hopefully will get it done!!! There are hundreds of bits to put together. Given my experience last xmas putting toys together on xmas day I think I would def recommend putting together before giving to the child as there could be some very frustrated kids asking every 2 seconds "is it done yet" and brain addled parents getting stressed. Will update and let you know how I get on with construction

I sent this to my granddaughter for her birthday and she loved it and has played with it a lot.My daughter and her husband said that it took hours to build, but they enjoyed doing it, so everyone was happy in the end.An increasing number of toys require some or even a lot of self assembly and I think that that should be highlighted better in the adverts as not every one is good at self assembly. Lucky for my grandchildren, I am and so are my daughters.

My 4 year old daughter loves this and my 8 year old son plays with it too, Really good once built, you need lots of patience as it takes a good 4 hours to build! I was surprised with how little furniture it came with, you need to buy all the furniture separately otherwise there is not a lot to play with and the castle looks empty. You need the bathroom, the dressing room, the dining room and the baby room. But overall a really good buy!

This is a really lovely toy, took a while to put together ( and then partially dismantle to get back in box, as I didn't want to be building this Christmas day), but worth it. Lots of detail, and sturdy, but you will need some furniture ( a couple of beds, bathroom set and dining table should sufficient), and a few more figures, to really play with it. Looking forward to seeing my daughter's face on Christmas day!

Good packaging, I was a little concerned that it would reach me in time for Christmas .but it did with time to spare , my 6year old granddaughter was so delighted with it she was speechless , mum and dad we're not very happy over the time it took to put together, but I had warned them beforehand . Is there no way some of the construction Could be done in the factory? . Other than that delighted with the product

I bought this Princess Fantasy Castle for my Granddaughter's 5th birthday, who absolutely loves it. Just a word of warning, it takes a little while to assemble it together and children get tired of waiting when they just want to get on and play with it. It seemed a bit on the expensive side when I bought it, but seeing how much my Granddaughter plays with it the expense was worth it.

Another wonderful toy from Playmobil, with loads of details, working elements and enough pieces of furniture and accessories to start you off. The only thing I would say is this took me nearly 5 hours to assemble, the instructions are fantastic, there's just so much to do!
