In big letters on the back of the pack it says 'Time required for assembly 90 minutes.' In my opinion this is woefully short of the mark. I reckon it took two of us just short of three hours in total.Have, hopefully, posted a picture of what it looks like when you open the box - there are, again according to the box, 394 pieces.A small tool is supplied to help you with the task of inserting the fastening/fittings. A couple of times we had to get the pliers out as well to pull these out or used the table to hammer things in............I don't want to make it sound too unpleasant. In many ways it was quite therapeutic. Just if you are giving it as a gift to your own or someone else's children there is going to be a huge time investment before it is up.

We've bought our son a lot of Playmobil stuff over the years along with Lego and even though he's nine he still comes back to Playmobil time and again. In fact, he plays with it more than he does with the Lego sets we have bought him.He usually plays with his Playmobil train but he gets a little frustrated with the track as it can be difficult to put together. I was a little worried about giving him this set as I thought he might think it was a little "girly", but I needn't have worried, he was well happy and he even helped me put it together.Assembly was a little tricky, but that is the nature of Playmobil, I guess,

I paid just over £50 and to be honest feel that is all it is worth. This is over priced. However it is bigger than I expected. There is a lot of building involved. To complete the building you need to buy the playgroup as the floor area has a quarter of a circle cut out. I suppose that this was to keep the cost down on the building and it is up to you if you want to spend the extra money.Overall this is a very nice set. It has many little areas for the children to play. It is not as sturdy as other sets and have to keep putting the stairs back on. But I think that it is better that it falls apart and can be put back together than to snap off and is therefore broken.

This is a really great toy.It took me absolutely ages to put together and a few mistakes were made along the way. But the final product was worth it!The building is of a decent size and there are lots of bits and pieces that come with it. My daughter is particularly enjoying putting the people on the loos in the building at the moment!...There is huge scope with this set for imaginative play and my daughter is really obsessed with it right now.As you would expect with playmobil, it is good quality and made to last.Would thoroughly recommend.

A fabulous set that has seen hours of imaginative play. It is large so you need a good space for it, along with a bit of time to assemble it, but once it's up it looks fab. We also bought the playgroup set and a gym hall to add on to it. Lots of little detailed bits that are a bit annoying when it comes to dusting but great for children who like using their fine motor skills. Great quality, as are all the Playmobil sets, and will last for years and years,

The school is a lovely toy and will last for years. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that it's quite hard to put together, the instruction are good but the pieces are in different bags. E.g.- step one could be 5 pieces and all 5 pieces are in different bags mixed with other steps instead of having all of step one in 1 bag, step two in another bag etc etc. But apart from that my daughter is very happy

Excellent value for money this will keep my little one busy for hours! I still can't believe i managed to get this for £35 its £70 at other places! Speedy delivery too ?

This is a lovely little nursery. It takes a long time to build but it is so worth it. It comes with loads of accessories and my daughter has had hours of fun with it!

Bought this for my daughter and she loved it!!!! There is hours of fun in her room and sometimes as she does not come down to eat! Great toy, Thanks.

My daughter loves this, but I think for money could have included the attachment bit the baby nursery you have to purchase separately

Delighted daughter plays with it all the time. Flexible as sometimes uses it as childminders house. Lots of fantastic detail.
