I love these gel pens. The ink always runs smoothly until the supply runs out, there is never an issue with the nib not retracting or drying out. They are boxed, so easy to store the unused supply until needed and each pen lasts a good time before the ink runs out. The nibs of new pens have a little blob on the tip to ensure the ink stays fresh, which peels off easily. I switched to these a few years ago from my problematic fountain pen and haven’t looked back and just bought another pack.Update 2021These remain my favourite pens and, according to the product listing, I have now purchased them on 8 separate occasions. I did have one box a while ago that didn’t work very well,

Prior to using these I used the uniball jetstream pen. I believe that these are better, as they are smoother and more pleasant to write with.I used these pens for writing notes, and each lasted around a month of use, writing about 25 sides of a4 per week. The ink did not bleed through 80gsm notepaper, and dried fairly quickly (although writing on a shiny surface was a different story - would not recommend these pens for that). The tip of the pen moves smoothly and easily over paper, and makes for a great writing experience. The line it makes is slightly thicker than other 0.7mm pens that I have used, but I find that it is still a good thickness for standard sized handwriting.

I ordered these pens as the size of the ball point was advertised as 0.7, which means that they write with a very fine line. However, when I received the pens the ones that were delivered were 1.0, which sounds a tiny difference, but is comparatively thick and not at all what I wanted as the job I had to do with them required an extremely fine line. So these pens went to the grandchildren, and they have told me that the pens were brilliant. However, when I went back to the seller they were absolutely lovely and really helpful and responded straight away and gave me a 30% discount, as the pens were the wrong size, so I was very pleased with the interaction. Well done!

Simply the best everyday Gel Ink pen I've found on Amazon for writing, sketching, & note taking.Pros: Quick retractable button (so, no fiddly pen caps), just the right size .07mm point, Gel Ink leaves a nice legible line, sturdy rubber section on the pen body gives a steady grip, & a handy pocket clip. The pen is neatly housed in a smooth, rounded-edged plastic form, that feels lovely in the hand. An easy pen to like. Pentel quality brand shows through.Cons:My daughter keeps taking these pens from my desk to do her little drawings.She gives these 5 stars, and she's tried everything. I must stock up again, then!

Over the years I have been nothing but frustrated at the cost involved in maintaining a decent pen. And disposable pens have never quite cut it for me, so when I bought these I was expecting the same in all honesty.What I have found is quite the opposite, the pens are confortable, even during extended writing sessions, the gel ink writes like a fountain pen but without the mess of constant refilling!I love a good fountain pen personally, but these are a great cost effective alternative for daily use in the office. I will be back for more soon! Thank you for such a quality product!

I LOVE Pentel Gel Pens.These are very comfortable to write with, even after a long period of time.I also find they write better than any other pan I have ever owned, they are smooth and a joy to use.I could go on about the weight (just right) they way they feel in my hand (just right) the quality of the ink (just right) and the experience of writing with them (just right)...Suffice to say that these are million miles from a ball point pen, and a total complete joy to use.Recommended without hesitation

The Pentel EnerGel pens are great to use. I personally use them ALOT for writing essays, exams etc... Each pen lasts around a month (And that is due to continuous usage) so they are long-lasting. Obviously depending on your usage they can last much longer. The price is also very reasonable. The reason i gave it 4 stars is that the pen tips are a bit too thick for my liking (I prefer pens that have thin pen tips for neater handwriting) but other than this is a good product.

My son is left handed and all pens seemed to smudge. A friend lent him this pen and, for the first time, his writing was smudge-free. I brought a box of black pens and a box of blue pens. For some reason, the black pens are slightly better - there can be a little smudging with the blue.I was also pleased with the price on Amazon. I only found these pens on sale in one well known supermarket, but they were half the price on Amazon.

These pens have a contour rubber grip which is great for ease of holding.The fine nib makes writing with them really easy. They don't run, but do not rub the ink until it dries. I have a few smudged messages on the calendar when I accidently caught the ink when wet.They have a small bit of something on the point to stop them drying up, excellent when you buy in bulk, and they hang around a while.A good price for these pens.

I've always liked the Japanese pen brands (Muji, Pentel, Pilot, etc) for writing, as they tend to produce smooth flowing ink.The soft rubber grip makes this pen comfortable to hold, even for long periods of time, plus it's retractable, meaning there's no need to worry about misplaced pen lids. On the high street, these retail for almost £2 each, so £12 for 12 pens is a bargain!

At first, it won't feel much different from all the other gel pens but continued usage will make these pens so fast and so comfortable to write with.A little spoiler, these pens are not made from Japan but are 'assembled in Mexico', still it is a Japanese company so the pens are just as good as if they were made from Japan itself

I do a lot of writing: notes for my work which I won't put on the computer. This time when I ordered these pens they came with free refills. That was absolutely marvellous. Firstly, I didn't ask for them and, secondly, I didn't know I could get refills which I will do in the future as I prefer to reuse things when I c an.

I used to use a fountain pen all the time but since discovering these I now use these and nothing else. Very smooth writing, don't pool or dry out, nicely balanced - and simply enjoyable to use. Refill seems to last for ever. And - having lost a few fountain pens over the years - now I don't have to worry.

My favourite colour, my favourite pens - just wish they lasted longer as I am well into my second box! However, I am an English teacher so I use them constantly, for marking, writing and at home for writing cards! Be warned, if you lend someone one of these you will have to fight to get it back!

Absolutley amazing pen, tried one and ordered these, fantastic comfort and brilliant ink.However, I ordered 12, and they came in packs of two, inconvenient and a waste of materials? Surely they can make bigger packs?Dont let that stop you though, just a little thing but otherwise perfect
