We bought these pens for our son to use for schoolwork. Like many boys he tends to be a bit untidy and so the pens are useful for him to correct his work and avoid having a page of crossing outs.The minor criticisms I would have, from the viewpoint of a parent are:(1) The barrel could benefit with being thicker for a child(2) The ink flow is not always that smoothNotwithstanding the above these are clearly some of the best pens in the market for schoolchildren…..….however two weeks before his exams disaster struck. One weekend he opened his history exercise book to find all his essays had vanished.

Many years ago my mother bought me a Papermate ball point pen. It was (and still is) beautiful, slim and silver in colour. At the time it was one of a new type - the ink inside was erasable. I always thought that what happened next was a shame.When it came out it was not happily greeted by all - most of the exam boards banned any pen that could be erased and therefore "hide any errors that the student might make" and that this was "cheating".Of course banning the pen was a stupid knee-jerk reaction because students could still cross out or scribble over any mistake they made ... and then there was liquid paper (Tippex) too; and since when was deleting/altering an error/mistake on an exam paper cheating!Anyway,

These pens are amazing, it's so easy to erase the ink from more or less any type of paper, just using gentle friction which doesn't leave any mess or damage to the paper. The only paper that doesn't react well is really lightweight newsprint or magazine paper.I find the pens invaluable for four main reasons:1. It's brilliant to be able to start a chart of information, knowing that you can return to it time after time to update the data. For example, noting down monthly income on a chart at the start of the year, knowing that the sums involved can vary. It's so easy to correct the chart & it'll look perfect.2. You can erase mistakes, or in my case the mess created when I fall asleep whilst writing notes etc.

I needed a pen to replace the one I got with my everlasting notebook.I couldn’t see anyone else commenting about how compatible these pens were and whereas some people had suggested on the notebook reviews that any water-based pen would work, I can safely confirm that is not the case.So, the quest was on to find something that I can use that won’t damage it permanently mark my book and can be easily removed when needed.I bought these pens a bit warily but tested them on the back page before confidently using them.I must admit I’m more impressed with these than the pen that came with the notebook as these wipe off so much easier whether using the rubber or a cloth.Whereas the supplied pens left marks on the pages,

I received one as a small thank-you gift, which I know was bought from Amazon.Coming from Pilot, these have a reputation to live up to. Several of the best disposable or refillable ball and gel pens I have used and continue to use have come from this brand as did the excellent but unfortunately no longer available nylon-tipped disposable fountain pen which was first introduced many years ago. The eraseable feature of these is covered by the small soft white plastic 'bubble' at the end of the pen. This may wear out with frequent use but the semi-transparent white plastic erasers should work just as well.The point is very small which produces a fairly fine line and there does not appear to be a broader version.

What’s not to like about these pens. The are really comfortable to hold, both for my husband who holds pens normally and me who holds pens ‘weirdly!’ The tip is just right to give enough ink to be strong but without being blotchy and where you have to wait ages for the ink to dry.The real beauty is that the ink is erasable, so if you make a mistake it’s not the end of the world. I think maybe these days we are all so used to typing that handwriting doesn’t come as naturally as before and it’s easy to make a mistake, that and, in my case, my mind is always thinking of the next thing to be done! I have spent ages choosing birthday cards only to make a mistake when I am writing and with these pens,

I bought one of these for my husband who's a teacher, as he was getting frustrated when making mistakes while marking books. Both my husband and I do actually prefer biros to gel-ink (which this is) as the writing feels more controlled, however I had tried some erasable biro-style pens before which really hadn't worked well (the ink flowed badly and when it was erased you could still see the indent of the writing). This on the other hand really does erase perfectly with the eraser on the reverse of the pen. It has saved him a lot of time and scribbling out! The major downside is that the ink doesn't last as long as equivalent pens, but that being said I personally think it's still worth it.

This is the only type of erasable pen I have used so far and I must say it's great! Erases really well, you can write on top of where you just erased, no problem at all. The blue colour is very nice. I prefer 0.7 to 0.5 because it stands out on paper well. 0.5 is a bit bleak for the paper I write on but is still better than an ordinary biro!The pens are quite expensive if bought on their own but are reasonably priced if bought in a pack (3pounds separately vs 1.53 per pen when bought in a pack of 12). The seller dispatched my order very fast and the pens arrived the next day.Ink lasts quite well but not as well as a biro. I am doing an engineering degree so I take a lot of notes in each lecture,

I have tried to upload a video to show this working but for some reason it won’t load. These pens are really smooth to write with and feel lovely to hold...BUT I have been searching and trying different erasable pens for marking fabric in that hope that it actually does work.I am very pleased to say that they work wonderfully on fabric in that you can either rub the fabric with the correct end of the pen but even easier and more effective is to simply hover the iron over the pen marks on the fabric and it immediately disappears.The pen erases on paper very well too and definitely recommend.To say I am pleased is really an understatement.

I was looking for an erasable green pen based on my previous experience in using red and blue erasable pens in US. I didn't expect at this stage they already discovered how to make gel erasable pens, but here we are - they did! This is the most advanced to date erasable pen I know, using ink gel that can be removed by friction either by using the pen intself (the part opposite to the tip) or any other rounded object that won't damage the paper you're writing on. Quite clever and so easy to use! The previous erasable pens I used have had normal erasers that, after a while, needed to be replaced. On this one, nothing is consumed when you erase! Only the ink. Very convenient...

I've honestly been wanting one of these pens for absolute ages, ever since they came out. Kids at school and a few friends had it and I loved it! Unfortunately, they were very expensive and my mum would not buy them. I didn't buy them because if I had, I would not really have that much money left. I've often looked on Amazon to check if there are any specials, although there haven't been. So when I came and saw this deal, I was over the moon! The postage was excellent and arrived within 2 days. When you write with this pen, it's so soft and smooth. When you rub out, it goes away. When I bought this item I knew that if it was put against a lot of heat, the writing would disappear.

I order a box of 12 Frixion pens approximately every 6 months, and couldn't get by without them. They are brilliant for note taking as I can go back and correct any mistakes without leaving any messy marks. They are also invaluable in my GCSE exams, because if the examiner can't read my scrawl, then he or she won't mark my paper. With my Frixion pens though, I can just go back and neaten up if my handwriting gets too bad. When you pick up the pen it feels well made; the lid clicks on so perfectly and it seems very solid. I have never had one break or snap in about 9 months of using them, and they don't half take a beating at school! For just over £1.60 a pen its definitely worth it.My ONLY criticism,

I use these during classes, and mainly during exams that are mandatory to be written in ink, so I can erase any mistake.Sometimes, the eraser bit can smudge a little, and to erase big portions of text I just hit the paper with a lighter flame and it instantly disappears. I also found out it reappears if the paper is placed in the freezer (nice way of playing secret message with kids...).The only drawback is that for you to use the erase, you have to either keep putting and removing the cap on the top of the pen or just leave it off, wich I dont like to do because desks at university are small, and thats one more thing on the way, and how fast the ink ends: on a busy period,

This is the review of a student who uses his pens for school work day in day out, firstly i think the pen looks nice because it has a good pattern on it and looks top middle end, secondly it is good for function because you can rub out ink with it and the ink lasts a decent time, but as for the usability i wouldn't score it very high because it doesn't have much grip which means you need to hold on to it hard, and also the replaceable ink cartridges that you buy once the ink has run out are far to expensive and need to be reduced which means that at the moment people are more likely to just buy a new pen as there's hardly any difference in price i would be looking for the price to come down to £3 for 8 ink cartridges,

These pens are the weapons of choice for our left handed 9 YO. Lovely smooth action (no scratchiness at an angle) and the ink sets nice and quickly. For us lefties this is great, means you can write in “good ink” without having smeary pages!These pens ? use Thermochromic ink. And it’s a sciency delight!! ? ?Essentially when you rub the ink with the end of the pen it generates friction heat. The ink reacts and is gone. But it’s not!!The beauty of Thermochromic ink is that the chemical reaction is reversible (see video). You can take a page of writing and wave it over the hob to make it disappear. Then you can put it in the freezer to make the ink REAPPEAR! It’s awesome stuff and you can do it as many times as you want.
