These Energel Plus rollerball pens from Pentel are well designed and nicely made and are perfect for many daily writing purposes at home, school or office, but they are also great for just having fun doodling with. The 0.7mm roller-ball gives a medium line width of approximately 0.35mm and although the low viscosity gel ink takes only a few moments to dry just take a little care not to smudge it when wet - but once dry the ink seems to be quite waterproof. The gel ink flows very smoothly and the soft rubber finger grip makes these pens comfortable and pleasant to use, and they feature a metal pocket clip on the cap to keep the pens secure in a top pocket.

Pentel ink gel pens have long been a favourite of mine. These are great, a box of 12 so you always have one at hand. Pentel pens were a favourite of mine when I was a classroom tutor, and they were a favourite of my students, too.The reason is that they are fairly smudge-proof, so suitable for left-handers. Some of my students found writing a challenge, and gripped a pen very tightly, the Pentel helped here as it has a soft gripping area. No more calloused fingers, if you do a lot of writing.The individual pens last a long time, so providing you can keep them in your possession, a box of 12 should last for ages. I like the fine nib of this, described as 'medium, but it's particularly good for fine detailing.

These pens write super-smoothly and cleanly from the minute you first take them out of the packet. They write with a pleasant, deep blue colour and I find that the medium (0.7mm) nib width produces good looking writing.One of my sons is left-handed and he loves writing with these pens as he doesn't get any smudging issues either on the page or on his hand which is great.These pens look quite smart and at the current price of just a little over £1 per pen they are a real bargain in my opinion as they last for ages. To be honest I'm more likely to lose them before they run out of ink! My youngest son really likes them too and has asked me to get some in black as he's not allowed to use blue ink at school.

Gel ink pens are the best ones out there in my opinion - you can't beat a good fountain pen, but they're not so practical for everyday use. These pens are perfect for any use, and last a long time. These are the blue ink Energel pens from Pentel - they feature a 0.7mm nib, and write smoothly and easily from the moment you take it out of the packet. This pack of 12 gives great value for money, and will last a very long time - I have a box of the black ink pens which I bought a year ago, and despite the fact that I write a lot as part of my job, I've only gone through four of them. They are lightweight, easy to hold and use, and the ink never smears. Perfect pens.

The blue is bright, light, and vibrant. A lovely colour. I always enjoy using Pentel pens best, the ink flows smoothly, no blots or mess. The medium nib line is tidy for notes, letters, signatures. Refills are available which reduces the cost of keeping the pens going and is good for the environment.Pentel gel pens improve the look of my script, and allow me to go on writing longer; then pens are so well designed and comfortable in the hand. Having a box of a dozen means a good supply always to hand in the home, office, college or school.

Traditional gel pen with a fairly fine metal tip (0.7mm) that produces a smooth flow of ink and quality results but, personally, I prefer a slightly thicker tip and a retractable design rather than this one (which has a traditional lid that is another thing to lose). As you'd expect from Pentel, you get a high quality product and this is well made and lasts well, making it a good all-round pen for use at home, work or study.

These are excellent pens. Really smooth writing and, very importantly, the ink dries very quickly. For a left handed writer this is perfect! I have stopped using bic biro type pens and am only using these.Other good points- nice feel in the hand when writing- well balanced- the top nicely clicks onto the bottom when using the pn so you do not lose the topFully recommended, great pen

These are some of my favorite pens for everyday use. Good grip, easy writing style, clear and very comfortable they leave a clear defined line at the 0.7mm size and are reliable and leak resistant. Happy to live in pocket and be used everyday and in a bag/drawer and be used once in a while. Good longevity and good quality. Recommended.

A nice pen with medium nib and good ink flow with no annoying breaks. Comfortable to hold and write with - not very quick drying on some surfaces though such as glossy cardboard so smudge risk at times. Overall a nice reliable pen which is a pleasure to use.

These are the only pens that I get in with, as I suffer from chronic arthritis, due to pain in my wrists & fingers. Holding and writing is a sheer pleasure with these Pentel Energel pens. In my opinion they are BRILLIANT.

Love these pens. Have been using them for years and to my mind (and hand) they are by far the best roller ball pens available!They knock my expensive Cross ones into a cocked hat....

The only pen I now better than this one costs 100 times more. Plus 10 pounds a week for ink... This one is by far the best for the price. Black 0.5 also great.

These are the only pens I can write legibly with. Have used them for years but they can be expensive.This purchase was excellent.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!Such a smooth writing experience. A lovely deep colour. Quick drying so no smudging.
