I ordered these pens not really knowing what to expect. Having used the Pilot V7s and G2s and then the Uniball Eyes, I felt I had used more than my fair share of good pens. The three that I have mentioned above are all excellent pens, but I wanted a change - I wanted to try something new. It was in this bold mind that I bought the twin pack of Pentel Energel pens! I have found them to be thoroughly excellent, producing a clear smooth line in a lovely 'proper' blue (without any hints of purple/black creeping in). The pens are of a good thickness and the lid even clicks on when you put it on the end to write which is rather satisfying! My one (very small) improvement is that they could put a rubber grip on rather than the plastic,
