First off, I did not purchase my kit from Amazon, I have no idea why it is so expensive here. I was able to but one for 1/3rd of the price elsewhere.This sensor cleaning kit works by the physical contact of the orange tip, with the sensor itself, and should not be used to getting rid of dust - use a blower for that instead. This is great for getting rid of sticky or oily substances - pollen etc, that have managed to become attached to your DSLR sensor.The instructions are very useful and accompanied by diagrams throughout.One tip - for best results, leave the orange tip 'stuck' to the sensor for a few seconds, instead of just dabbing it on and off. This item worked perfectly and solved a problem that had been irritating me for some time. For what the kit contains I thought it was expensive and this alone negated a score of five.
